PARKING ISSUE SCAM
Putting this review but not because of the food or services but because of the parking. We decided to park at the parking area behind Texas chicken where we did not realise there is a "TEXAS" written in the yellow parking lot. But the fact that we passed twice in front of the post guards which do not have any sort of barrier and there was a woman sitting in the guardhouse which we thought was a guard. I mean why would a person be sitting in a guardhouse unless they're the security guard? We passed by in-front of the guard house with a car, she didn't stopped us, after that we even walked in front of her to go to a nearby shop still no warn was made by her.
After about 15minutes we get back to our car and find that it was clamped then we approached the woman in the guardhouse just to met with a woman who's wearing a casual attire and claimed to be just a cleaner there. Why would a cleaner be in a security guardhouse? We asked her if she could call the person who clamped our car and after few minutes an elderly man with a security attire arrived with his motorcycle. My friend asked to know why our car got clamped and he started raising his voice towards her which infuriates my friend and they had an argument with each other . He told us that the parking is for the company building only and texas customers and he even rudely told "you all semua tak pi texas kan you all pi mana?" And we already felt suspicious since he was not in the guardhouse but he knew that we did not went to texas. How does he know unless there was a cctv in that area
And when we asked him to open the clamped he told us we need to pay the penalty fee of RM100 cash . I even beg him if we could pay with QR or any sort of online payment instead since we were running out of time to get back to the office since we already exceeded our lunch time and he even "AJAR" us to go to Petronas and get some cash from the ATM but since we desperately need to head back we just went to petronas to get some cash
When we get back, we gave him cash of RM100 and I asked him for a receipt for the payment made but all of the sudden he said that he pitied us so he insisted of charging us RM50 only. And even jokingly asked " you all nak 50 ka 100 ikut you all la" how come a management penalty fees can get discount ya?? but since we're in a rush we just agreed with whatever he wanted even though we knew something is not right and yes we did not receive any receipt from the so called security management.
After checking upon google reviews. I found out we are not the first person to encounter this issue with the same "woman" and "security guard" the other reviewer had the same exact situation as us but they managed to made the payment thru QR instead unlike us.
We knew that its our fault for not being aware about the parking but the situation handled by the so called security management is just too suspicious and the fact he did the same method to other people means that this is their daily routine at this point. I do not have evidence since we were too in rush to even take any pic of the guard and the woman but me writing this review is TO WARN OTHERS ABOUT THIS.
And if the Texas Chicken Manager is reading this review, please let the building management know about this issue and I hope this is the last time their security guard is doing this side money work. Im taking this issue seriously and if I found out anyone experienced this issue again, with more evidence I will definitely take legal action. Pls be a responsible person when...

I parked my car in the parking lot and went down to pack fried chicken. After packing, I found that I had forgotten to buy panadol. I put the things in the car and went down to buy them. When I walked back to the car, I found that the car was locked. I asked the security guard, and the reason he gave me was that he saw that I improperly occupied the parking space of their house. I patiently explained to him that I bought fried chicken. He impatiently insisted that he saw me occupy their exclusive parking space to buy things from another store. I showed the receipt to prove that I had bought something from them. He was very angry and said that my receipt was fake. I'm very angry. If I pay him, it means that I admit that I'm wrong. I couldn't argue with him. I asked him to go into the store with me and ask the manager whether my receipt was real or not. He was still very dissatisfied and insisted that his own eyes were not wrong, saying that if the receipt was real, he would recognize it. But after the manager confirmed that the receipt was true, he began to repent and started another set of rhetoric to try to make me think I was wrong. He said, "What you bought at 18:51:51, what time is it now?" He meant to tell me that I didn't buy it until he locked the car. I don't know why he insists that his eyes are not wrong and doesn't want to watch CCTV? He is so old that he has few teeth and doesn't wear a security uniform. I've been arguing with him. He said, "Do you know that my job is to monitor here for 12 hours? Don't you know the rules here?" He also said something insulting to women loudly and tried to raise his hand to hit me. Finally, I asked him, "So how are you going to solve it now?" He said angrily, "I'll open the lock now, please...
Read more16/12/24 1pm: We had a frustrating experience with the security at the Texas Chicken area. We parked inside and passed the guardhouse twice—once while driving in and again while walking to a nearby shop for lunch. At no point did the security guard tell us that parking there wasn’t allowed. (As illustrate photo)
After lunch, we came back to find our car clamped, and the guard asked for RM100 to release it. When we asked why he didn’t inform us earlier, he said, “Why didn’t you ask the security guard if you could park there?” Shouldn’t it be part of the security guard’s job to tell visitors and prevent these situations? When we asked for the management's phone number, he claimed he didn’t have it. Hmmmm.
To make matters worse, we noticed that there was someone else sitting inside the guardhouse who clearly didn’t appear to be part of the security team. Isn’t the guardhouse supposed to be restricted to on-duty personnel only? It raises questions about the professionalism of the security setup.
When we agreed to pay, the guard insisted on cash, even though we didn’t have any at the time, and told us to withdraw from a nearby Petronas. After some back and forth, he finally accepted QR Pay. If you know, you know, how these money-collection tactics usually work—hahaha. QR payments directly to management are much better to avoid any doubts about where the money goes.
While we admit we were in the wrong for parking there, better communication and professionalism from the security team could’ve easily prevented this issue. Sharing this for awareness.
BM version: "Guard sembang macam terpaling buat kerje untuk clamp kereta, tapi tak bgitau org pun x leh nk parking situ. kite yg kne tye pulak. kau dh nmpk kot kitrg lalu 2 kali dpn bilik kau.cakap je lah nk duit.
