Food: The food was AWEsome. I ordered creamy chicken, salted duck egg, squid, veggie soup & egg and claypot tofu. The salted duck egg squid is so good (melts in your mouth) and the creamy chicken was delicious. There's nothing I don't recommend.
Drinks were really nice too, and our waitress/chef (not really sure :) ) recommended nutmeg, lemon tea, herbal tea and plum & lime. We didn't try the plum and lime and got other drinks too. The best drink from the ones we got was probably iced lemon tea, and the nutmeg was pretty nice. We weren't too interested in the price as long as it was reasonable; the meal including drinks cost less than RM 95 and was such good quality and quantity for what we paid.
Service: Our server was really energetic and polite and she even recommended popular dishes for us. We were going to order large too but she told us medium was pretty big so we went with medium instead and it was much larger then expected.
Overall would definitely come again and recommend to anyone who...
Read moreWhat a great place!! We liked it so much we came here 4 times in 4 days. This place is a local favourite as well as for tourists. It take a little while if their orders get backed up. Only one cook and one server ( I think they are the owners). What we liked is all the orders are made once you’ve order them. You also know all the ingredients are fresh because it is a busy place. At lunch they have local workers come in, some large takeout orders and people waiting to pickup. Our favourites were: Boneless pork with Salted Egg, Claypot pork belly with salted fish. Char Key Teow, and all the Green vegetables side dishes. All dishes came in S, M or L sizes which are perfect, so you can try more than one dish. When we had 3 small dishes with a beer and a tea it was 55RM and our lunch with 2 dishes and 2 soft drinks...
