Western Village — Restaurant in George Town

Went there at 7pm and quite a long wait, about 30 minutes. Menu is by way of QR code scanning, I have posted a picture of that here. The crispy pork belly was good and melt in your mouth type. The grilled Fish & Chips was good as it tasted like the normal ikan bakar with the sauce on top (non spicy, maybe like 10% spicy). Portion was good for all the food. Plenty of seating, could say around 10 tables outdoors spaced far apart. Not sure if there are indoor seating. Plenty of mosquitos too so bring your mosquito repellant spray. The seating is right next to a river and you need to cross a tiny wooden bridge to get to the restaurant, no wheelchair friendly or people needing help walking. Overall can try coming earlier because no parking at all, just some space on the grass next to the river. No paid parking...

I recently dined at Western Village and had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every aspect of our meal was perfect.

Now, let's talk about the food! The menu offered a great selection of Western dishes, and everything we ordered was prepared to perfection. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the presentation was impeccable.

Lousy place and environment, bad service. As we have 11pax and have to be compliance with the SOP during this pandemic, therefore we made a reservation. However when we arrived, we only found that they did not reserve a single table for us and it’s already full house! And they told us we have to wait for at least 45mins. Like seriously? Even people who came later than us got a table while we were waiting at outside (just because of they have smaller pax - 4pax). How could we get a single table when you keep arranging those later comers to those small tables? The waiters/waitresses did not offer any help, assistance or whatsoever to arrange us a table quickly. So very...
