Small, quiet and cosy looking restaurant... and I was really impressed and amazed by the service and food here. I was immediately served with complimentary water and a small complimentary appetizer... I was confused at first because it was quite a sizeable portion. After I finished one appetizer... they brought out another one!! And it was free! Maybe I am not familiar with the concept of Korean dining, but for this amount and portion size it was really incredible. I ordered a Big Size Pork Cutlet.... and oh my I was in for another surprise.... big size is REALLY big size. The pork cutlet was bigger than the size of my open palm! And it's also not just an illusion that it is big because the pork had been pounded super paper thin.... it was a proper, thick, juicy, enormous pork cutlet! They brought me even more (complimentary!) side dishes too.... so much that it was quite overwhelming. I am not a fan of pickles so will not comment, but there are a good selection of vegetable pickles and kimchi in the side dishes. There is also some fresh fruit, salads, cold noodles (delicious by the way but there was SO MUCH FOOD I couldn't eat more than a few bites), sweet potatoes and a big scallion pancake. The pork cutlet dish itself too came with a side of rice, pasta and more vegetables hahaha.... I think this one main course could feed 2 or 3 people! The staff were also very nice and friendly, and efficient. Price wise? Extremely good value for money. It's incredible that they are not more busy than they are! I had a great lunch here. Will look forward to trying more things in future.
Edit: came here again on my own for lunch... and also had come a few more times with my family. Ordered the pork cutlet with onions and tartare sauce and it is really delicious. Generous heap of raw onions made my eyes water hahaha but so, so good. Remember this is not a place to come if you are in a hurry. They were super packed at lunchtime. Every single table occupied. So a bit slow service is expected... but so worth the wait. And they have so many complimentary appetizers to keep you happy and busy with things to munch on. If you are impatient or cannot wait maybe give it a miss. But this is totally understandable. They are excellent, and they are very busy. I will give 10 stars...
Read morePlace: air-conditioned, well spaced sittings, dim light and wooden chair for seats. The owner? Perhaps was Korean...so, young girls would love it I guess. With the background Korean music everything here seems to scream k-pop, Korean...that's why it's not surprising Koreans themselves visit this place. They provide delivery via food panda and grab.
Service: waiters are less than friendly, don't smile often, but still prompt upon calling for order and responsive upon questioning. What I disliked was that the side dishes were not served while I was waiting for my main meal, where else it was for other tables. Maybe it was a guy waiter serving the lady's table instead of a single dude. Lol.
Food:
I've been their customer for almost a year and we literally go there once a month. The extra size pork cutlet is a must try. We love it so so much and would order it everytime when we go.
Ambience & cleanliness: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nothing much to complain about.
Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The waiting time for the food to be served wasn't too long when we went.
Menu variety: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quite lots of selection
Food quality: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We have eaten it for so many times and the quality remained the same. The pork cutlet was probably the best I have ever had. It's super crispy on the outside and yet juicy and tender on the inside. The tomato gravy tasted so heavenly and I always hope they can give me more of it. The pork cutlet comes with small sides like rice, salad, fries and macaroni too. The portion was just perfect for me and my partner. They are generous with their side dishes before main meal too. You can get 4-5 sides including a mini pancake and sometimes a small bowl of soup too. Kimbab was nice too if you feel that the pork cutlet doesn't fill your stomach fully.
Value for money: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's definitely worth your money as the big size cutlet only costs rm29.90 and feed 2 people well.
Keep up...
