Hard Rock Cafe Puteri Harbour — Restaurant in Iskandar Puteri

Unfortunately our experience of service and service staff was poor. Unlike the renown Hard Rock service it's know for, and myself personally having experienced HRC Penang, KL, Singapore and in the USA. We were a party of 11 (4adults/7children). We had a new staff whom insisted and even corrected us on the size of beer we had, insisting what we were given was a Pint of Guinness twice (when it's was clearly a Half pint). Not until we got a senior server and asked if they had a pint glass and please give us a pint and then that mistake was corrected and was served properly. We then ordered 5 milkshakes to which we were told they had run out of vanilla ice cream to make our ordered choice (1vanilla, 4oreo) so an alternative was suggested which was chocolate milkshake to which we accepted. But we were also puzzled when a Brownie desert was served with a vanilla ice cream passed us on the way to another table (maybe that was the last scoop of vanilla). The kids had finished their meals and we were wondering how long it took to make those milkshake and asked they senior server to please assist to have those milkshake as the kids had nothing to drink during their meal. To our amazement we noticed the staff rushing about and guess what ... The order wasn't putted in.... after it came (when all the kids had finished their meals, easily 10mins after) the kids did not feel the Chocolate milkshake was good more like ordinary only. We had spent over $1700 and the Hard Rock experience was utterly poor. Recommend if you must go then go in a party not more then 4people and please do not have not expectations of a Hard Rock renowned service or you'll be totally disappointed. I've read some bad reviews before coming here but still decided to go anyway to celebrate my husband's birthday because of the vibe. Turns out, I've experienced one of the most best night with my husband to celebrate his birthday. We've ordered New York steak and BBQ chicken and it tastes so delicious. My steak is quite tender and very juicy, and the mash potatoe was very yummy. Same goes to the chicken, well seasoned with the bbq. As for the drinks, not much choice for muslim as we have to go to non-alcoholic drinks but i think it is more worth it to have soda's drink as it is refillable. We stay for quite long as we kinda enjoying the food while watch the performances, so we get to refill our drinks 👍🏻. We were entertained by Upper Box Band throughout the night, their voices are sooo nice and amazing. They performed a lot of famous songs and caught everyone's attention to sing along. We are so fortunate to get a seat right in front of the stage, which we could see the band performing very close. They're pretty and handsome people, everyone in the band 😆. Anyway, better to make reservation first before coming. Lastly, their staff. All of them is very approachable and helpful. Always ready to serve us for whatever service we need. The worst HRC experience ever. We just had our dinner here today 29 June 2023. Me, my husband and our 6 kids. Since it is public holiday we were told that only outside table available. It is ok with us. There is only another table besides ours were occupied outside for the whole 2hours. We came arround 7.45pm. Bought a few shirts/sweater at the Rock Shop while waiting for our table to be ready. Everything seems ok so far. Until an hour later. We had almost finished our food but 2 more are still not served. It was my kids food. During that time ( that particular hour ) after they had send out the other food, they did not come to check if we all had our food or not. If we need to refill our drinks or not. They are all standing inside the restaurant area without even coming or looking at us. For one whole hour. Later the waiter came and we ask for the 2 missing food. And the answer really shock me " Oh! Sorry. I did not make that in your order" I'm boiling to hear that because he clearly repeated all the order before. And he did write it. I was so mad but since i'm dining with my kids i had to just keep it down to myself. We are Hard Rock lover. We went to so many Hard Rock Cafe. Not only here in Malaysia but all around the globe.
