Nizar Saberi Makes the Difference A True Hospitality Gem at Fraser Hotel

I initially visited teh Swatches Restaurant at Fraser Hotel out of curiosity, not expecting much more than the standard experience of a 5-star hotel eatery. But that first visit, about two months ago, changed everything, and the reason is crystal clear: Nizar Saberi.

From the moment we met, it was evident that Nizar is no ordinary manager. His presence radiates professionalism, calm confidence, and sincere warmth. He isn’t just good at his job, he elevates the entire space around him. Nizar has that rare ability to transform what might otherwise be a bland or predictable setting into a place that feels alive, welcoming, and genuinely cared for.

Thanks to him, I’ve returned multiple times since that first visit, for regular meals and for buffets, because I know the experience will be consistently positive. His attention to detail, unwavering kindness, and ability to make guests feel seen and appreciated is simply unmatched.

Nizar brings the essence of true hospitality, he listens, he anticipates, and he ensures everything runs smoothly while making it all feel natural and effortless. His leadership clearly inspires the entire team and sets a tone of excellence that doesn’t go unnoticed.

Our group of 6 had iftar at Swatches recently and it was a last minute decision. Upon calling Swatches I was attended to by Encik Mohd Azhar who made the reservation for our group without hesitation as it was based on trust after I assured him that we would definitely turn up. We were impressed with the festive decoration leading to the restaurant and were warmly welcomed by Encik Fazli whom I believe is the manager, who took his time explaining their Ramadan buffet concept which took us back to our heritage food and it included exotic food we rarely get to taste! Overall the buffet was aesthetically pleasing and the spread was delicious! The highlight of the buffet was the free flow servings of fresh Durians which we had just outside the restaurant. Had breakfast here for the 3 days 2 nights stay at Fraser’s. Our first breakfast was off to a bad start. There were no cleared/set up tables when we arrived. We had to ask the staff which tables he is planning to clear and set up. Food was decent and tasted alright. Eggs station had no system and was totally overwhelmed. 2nd day breakfast was just a little better. Just wondering why the orange juice station was closed even though breakfast was still not over.
