ming ang supposedly promotes sale of items to Singapore, with an almost 20% mark-up of prices from tags listed in Malaysia. however, if you are going to order for delivery to Singapore, you are unable to select any delivery time or day. it is entirely up to when the shop wants to arrange your delivery. what was initially communicated as Jan 16 delivery, was later told to be Jan 18 upon checking with them on Jan 16 itself. neither are they able to advise which time of the day (even if to say morning or afternoon) the delivery will be made. this leaves you wondering and having to wait indefinitely for your order to arrive. messages sent to their numbers also go un-answered. thus, if you decide to place an order delivery from ming ang to Singapore, think twice. certainly not going to be ordering from this shop...

Famous place for Heong Peah in JB Bukit Indah area. You can easily find it across the street fr the Aeon shopping mall (facing the other side though). Be prepared to surrender under the awesome buttery aroma of the freshly baked pastries once you step in.

Go early to avoid disappointment as most freshly baked Chinese pastries are sold out during daytime already. There are also various dry baked goods for your choices. Many products are imported from Taiwan as well.

Prices are on a higher side fr Malaysia's point of view, but is relatively cheap if converted to SGD. Nonetheless, the freshness and texture is really...

A branch of Ming Ang Confectionary which is a potential place for you to purchase their products outside of City Square perhaps if you are going to AEON Bukit Indah which is just across the street.

Large store where you can browse products (not all are Ming Ang's products) and also see where the pastries are being baked.

As long as you avoid the timing where a tour bus happens to pull up, you can get served almost immediately by going right up to the counter and specifying your order. Saved a lot of time this way rather than queuing up at the City Square branch which typically has a queue on...

The freshly baked confectioneries are the main draw to this Johor-famous chain, although they have increased their complimentary offerings. This Bukit Indah branch is a must visit for us when we travel to southwest Johor. The heong peah is just so fresh, flaking light and the centre is not too sweet. In comparison, that of other brands comes across as hard and dry. There are more outlets nearer to JB city itself, and Singaporeans are a target market too. There is a back entrance with more car parks at the rear of the building.

Loved the siow pau, heong peah, and tausa chicken floss biscuit here — definitely best enjoyed warm, so take the time to heat them up, it’s totally worth it! The siow pau had a stuffing that was just right, not too sweet compared to others like yumido’s. The heong peah had a strong sesame aroma, and the tausa biscuit surprised me; instead of the expected dry, powdery filling, it was melt-in-your-mouth smooth. The light shallot oil fragrance and the perfect mix of sweet and savory from the chicken floss really made it stand out.
