New fish shop in town as at Jan 2025! Odd location but still very accessible, especially near hotel and eateries. Well staffed and not too over staffed. Workers service with a smile though they can’t speak much English. Fish is plentiful in terms of variety and abundance of stock. They do sell plants as well, price range from 3rm to 6rm to 18rm??!!! Second floor is where they keep their prized goldfish and arowana, see videos posted, they are not cheap as in kl and other parts of jb, the colour doesn’t really command that price range of 1800rm, though compared to sg, it is already cheaper. Water quality is clear and clean despite each tank being overstocked. They sell Thai betta fish at 48rm and normal betta fish starting from 10rm. Betta fish is a little pricey as the jb market price is about 5rm. They have bulk buy discounts for betta fish too. Fish equipment and tanks and decorations are plentiful as well. Do...

One thing to note, very difficult to find parking in this area. Lots of people double parking and blocking up the area. Difficult to navigate and need to circle few times before finding a spot. Even then, there was another car waiting on the other side to swoop into the lot I had been signalling and waiting for. Anyway. Boss of this shop is very nice and knowledgeble. Give good advice. When I came it was a Monday, and he said weekend a lot of people come to buy fish and there is no new fish delivery on the weekend. Better come on a Wednesday, maybe have new stocks. I have recently discovered this shop, I find the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Their English is great and offer sound advice.

There is a great selection of aquariums and equipment. Good selections of food and aquarium-scaping options.

There are limited selections on fish, however these change regularly, so one week you may find nothing you want. Then next week you want to get everything.
