Jeju, Korean BBQ. At Bukit Indah, JB
So the Boss had a craving/hankering for a Korean BBQ, but at home! Since getting all individual ingredients, dishes, sauces, condiments for only 2 of us, is a bit of a drag, (we never finish all the items as we don’t have it regularly) we decided to go back to a place we have been a few years ago & check if they allow take away! And Take Away we did!
So in order to have the variety I boldly ordered the Set D, 4 persons, but was overwhelmed by the amount of food that easily could have been enough for 6 or even more! So volume was amazing, price point was ok, (check out their website) and the food items were packed real well! (Didn’t take pictures, sorry forgot, it was good!)
The menu centred around Beef, Pork & Chicken (missed my seafood but hey you can’t have it all)
The marinades were perfect, although, I needed to cut the meats more into portion sizes myself, but quality good and plentiful!
The Spring onion pancake as good as can be, of course if eaten in the restaurant will be better but hey, put into oven for a while and came out decent!
The winner was the Kimchi soup , absolutely perfect! Quantity enough for a full family! Perfect
On the veggie side, a tad disappointing, was hoping for leeks and some mushroom, not there, (except the branded two bits with the beef) for a more balanced meal, should add at least two veggies!
I did add a marinated Pork Shoulder to the menu though, no regrets! Super tasty!
As far as condiments are concerned, most standard were there, including one or two unidentifiable weird ones! But the Kimchi, the sauces, the fermented bean chili all good! missing (one of my personal favourites, sesame dip)
But overall plenty full and tasty, will for sure do this again, but knowing now what to look out for will be better equipped the next time around!
Great early dinner experience in the comfort of our home!
PS, will add menu & restaurant pictures next time around! Enjoy

Great korean meat. Really the star of the show. They grill the meat for you to perfection with hints of smokiness. Beautifully golden brown yet still tender. Their marinated chicken was done so amazingly well I was shocked. I dont even usually like chicken in kbbqs so if i say its good, its really good. And I lost count of how many times they changed the grill. Top notch service right there. We got the 4-5 pax pork and chicken set for rm202 which came with soup and pancake.
Get the steamed egg (rm8) They do it very well. Highly recommended. Fluffy yet crusted. Shows great fire control and one of the best steamed eggs I've had.
Seafood pancake was a miss. Not recommended. Seafood stew was good but you need to let it boil down abit. It was so meh initially. Seafood itself were fresh and plentiful.
Service was good but not the warm kind. They're still polite tho and the boss is...
Read moreI was with my family and a friend (4 pax). We went to Jeju Korean BBQ Restaurant based on TripAdvisor recommendation. It was almost full at 6 pm! Food was great. Service was fantastic. Price is very reasonable. My wife is a Korean and she liked the food so much she ordered two bbq beef set. It's definitely authentic. We had the free ice cream as dessert, nice touch!
We left the restaurant feeling very happy and satisfied. As we were about to get into our car and set off to Singapore the restaurant manager came after us. We were so preoccupied talking about the food we left behind some of our belongings! We are extremely grateful for the restaurant manager to chase after us all the way to our car (almost 200 metres away) to pass the items we left behind! This is truly "great customer service" that we often heard of but almost never seen.
Jeju will be the only Korean restaurant we eat in JB from now on. Needless to say, we highly recommend...
