The food that truly stole the show: Let's start with the Yong Dao Fu. those delicate tofu pockets were stuffed with a flavorful mixture of minced meat. The accompanying sauce had just the right balance of savory and tangy, leaving me craving more. Next up, the Rice with Lard. Now, I'll admit, lard might sound indulgent, but trust me, it was a stroke of genius. The perfectly cooked rice absorbed the rich, comforting flavor without being overpowering. Each grain was a revelation. And then there was the Fried Hakka Mee. Oh, the noodles! Springy, stir-fried with fresh vegetables, and infused with that delightful wok hei. I savored every bite. But it wasn't just the mains that impressed me. The drinks menu offered a refreshing escape. The sweetness level was spot-on—neither too sugary nor too bland. What stood out most was that none of the dishes were overly salty. New Hakka Delights has mastered the art of authentic flavors without compromising on health. It's a celebration of tradition and taste, and I can't wait to return for more...
Read moreTried this hakka cafe recc by a regular. Holy cow it’s crowded af for a wkday 2pm siol. On a blazing hot day still have ppl willing to wait under the sun. Salute. Shop is relatively clean and have many fans installed all over the place. They have foods like yong taufu, sliced pork soups, fried meat balls and stuffs. Ordered the crispy pork(Rm10.90), ytf(rm20.70), hakka meatballs(Rm9.90), hakka meatball soup(Rm16.90) and a otah(Rm12). The ytf is decent. The crispy pork feels abit thin. V little crunch and no texture. The hakka meatballs were not too bad. Goes well with the chilli sauce provided at the side. The otah for Rm12 is abit pricey la even tho it’s a relatively large piece. Tastes like reg otah lo. Not too spicy kind. Tbh overall dining was abit unbearable. I was sweating bawls and still have to eat all the fried food.. I’m surprised i haven nosebleed yet. I think nth mindblowing leh.. and pork soup is something i think i can find in most coffee shops. Btw parking here can be abit of a challenge. Most likely have to...

Abacus: supposedly their signature but it lacks flavour. No yam taste and dried shrimp.
Sliced pork soup with dry noodles: nothing much to complain about the soup, it's plain like those BCM soup. But the noodles though, doused in too much sauce which has no depth.
YTF: another signature which we never got round to tasting it since the waiting staff left out our order even though it was indicated in the order chit. We cancelled our order after we realised that the order wasn't taken in by the kitchen. Let's not waste our time right?
I tried searching to find a saving grace, but I really can't find anything. If you're looking for Hakka ytf and abacus seeds, just head down to sembawang road. Ampang hakka ytf and plum restaurant...
