馒头铺海南特色中西餐厅 Man Tou Pu Restaurant — Restaurant in Johor

Good food, ambiance and service. And good quantity of food at reasonable prices. The hot drinks like coffee, tea, with milk also are only RM1.50! I had the iced milk tea which was only RM2.00 and it was very good. The fried man tou was also very good. Every table has power supply for charging hp, laptops, etc. Very fast wifi and they have a very cute toy dog which always like to play, and can stand and move on its two hind legs! The best place in JB or maybe even Malaysia to have authentic Hainanese dishes....

Had dinner here, 4 of us. Clean n friendly joint. Parking was not difficult and restaurant could be seen easily, red in color.

Food wise, it's kinda fusion but not yet fusion, if u know what I mean.

Their man tou was nice. But the other dishes were rather mediocre if ask me.

Their wraps tasted strange. However, the traditional items like curry, braised pork all tasted ok.

A place that specializes in mantou dishes. The best is the curry chicken with two types of mantou - steamed & fried. The Hainanese pork chop is just average as the pork chop batter was too hard. Meat was not tender enough. The Hainanese sauce was off not so nice. Instead of fries they served with fried mantou that looks like French fries. The luncheon meat with mantou was nice though. Overall good was average and worth trying for...
