Big Food F&B (JM0686388-U) — Restaurant in Johor

Bigfood has been my family’s go to for western food since almost 9years ago and the food- even since back then had never been disappointing. We decided to comeback on 12/1/25 after so long and to our surprise the food was still as good and the creamy salted egg pasta tasted exactly the same like we remembered it from years and years back. So tell me why when we came back here again on 26/1/25 everything was the opposite :(

1. The place smells terrible. It smells “kepam” idk how else to explain except it really smells like it was wiped down with a cloth that hasn’t been washed in years. It’s very unpleasant since the moment we stepped in.
2. When we wiped down the table with wet tissue, it was horrendously dirty and it was yellow/green. Could explain the strong stench.
3. The creamy salted egg pasta we ordered tasted so different and it gives off a more black peppery taste than it did salted egg. (I had to get them to amend it)
4. We got some of our drink orders late & weren’t served an extra bbq sauce on the side like other customers did. (Could be that the staff overlooked and that’s ok but it was clear that they were overwhelmed with the many customers and it looked likey they were short staffed) Safe to say, we will never return, maybe not until the place gets a thorough revamp...

Western food, big portion and family friendly place. Had dinner for 20 with a mix of all ages from 80s to babies. We went here without reservation and yet they still have good and ample space.

What I love about this place is they have kids playing area. Small slide, plastic horses and table with babies toys on carpeted area are just what we need for family dinner. As we came around 7.30pm, the surau and toilet is just perfect for us to solat and freshen up.

We ordered so many food among others grilled mix platter, chicken chop, lamb rib grill and various spaghetti. They also have Asian fusion food such as nasi goreng, Tomyam and nasi balado for the price of less than RM20. Most menu above RM20 Is good for sharing.

After dinner, you can treat yourself with various cakes and home brew coffee. They’re also good and tasty.

Suggest Big Food to prepare printed menu to help those without hp (old and kids) and take menu by hand (not through system) because there was double order (longan ribena) and...

as an event planner, this restaurant was among the top in my customers' choice list. the food portion is very satisfying and the environment is cosy n nice..however the staff attitude and customer service is lacking and getting worse. they are well known for playing birthday song while serving cake to guests..that surprisingly becomes one of their trademark among customers making people want to celebrate birthday there. i have done deco job several times there..but tonight i dont do deco only delivering bouquet and cake to a customer eating there..i asked a favor if they could help me to serve the cake n me bringing the bouquet..but the attitude of your staff..wow...
