Pelam Tree Cafe — Restaurant in Johor

It took me awhile to write down this review. Mula mula taknak pun tulis review sebab rasa macam tak berbaloi nak marah not until my sister told me she is actually allergic to pineapple only yesterday.

We were the first customer who arrived there on that day. Takda customer lain pun. Cara amik order nak cepat cepat je. Faham nak cepat tapi tolonglah tunggu customer habis cakap dulu. Ada tu kita tak habis cakap dah terus blah dah. Eh geram eh.

Lepastu bab makanan. Okay lah makanan sedap. We ordered a lot. I think paling i suka spaghetti salted egg, kambing apa i tak tahu nama betul dia and chicken wing & drummet yang mcam thai tu i tk ingat ap nama dia. I ordered fish and chips. Bila dapat tu i tell you. The fish tu ada bahagian hitam ya. And my sis in law dah cakap, cuba potong tengah confirm tak masak, and guess what yup! Betul tak masak. Memang mentah lagi. Mind you I am 6 months pregnant. Waktu pregnant memang tak boleh makan makanan mentah. I memang dah panas dah. Husband i panggil nak bgthu mentah. Husband i tak habis cakap lagi eh dia dah mencelah kita. “Oh memang system kita goreng dia gelap macamtu”. Kitorang nak cakap yang ikan tu mentah. Bukan sebab kau goreng sampai hitam ke apa. Awal awal memang husband i suruh tukar sbb hangit tapi i cakap takpalah i malas nk make a scene tapi kalau mentah memang kena tukar lah. Lepas dah bagitahu mentah tu, okay lah dia offer still nak fish and chips ke nak tukar lain. I ni memang mengidam fish and chips so of course lah i nak fish and chips so dia dah tukar. So thank you for that. Alhamdulillah dapat elok pulak. Tak hitam hangit ke apa elok kejadian. Boleh pulak system tukar kan tak dapat hangit alhamdulillah. And adik i order nasi goreng kimchi. Bila order tu, dia ada tanya nak chicken chop or lamb chop tak silap i but my sister said she want chicken chop. Okay lah. Dapat dapat, tak dapat nasi goreng kimchi pun. Nasi goreng biasa letak pineapple. When asked, baru dia cakap oh kimchi habis tapi dia tukar dengan pineapple. Susah eh nak inform customer before u proceed with the order? My sister just told me sebenarnya dia allergic pineapple tapi dia pun tak nak make a scene dia makan je sbb kebetulan dia bawak ubat allergic dia. Memang tak fikir eh ada setengah customer allergic ke apa? Next time tanya dulu, boleh ke tak. Kalau orang tu ada serious allergy and then mati kat situ sebab tak tahu kau tukar ingredients ke macam mana? Nak tukar nyawa ke?

As someone who work in an f&b environment, who studied about food science and all, who learn about customer service,customer safety regarding food you memamg wajib jaga. Nampak macam remeh kan, “alaa tak masak je ikan tu boleh tukar kan? Ala pineapple je whats the big deal” tapi ni psl food safety tau. I heard so many good reviews about this place when i finally tried it, i was so dissapointed. Tapi spaghetti salted egg tu memang sedap lah i tell you. Fish and chips dia pun guna batter bukan bread crumbs so tu plus point. Tapi service memang out. Please, listen to your customer first. Faham busy faham banyak benda nak buat. Tapi tolong. Dengar dulu.

for the food, its not good but not bad also, and when i arrive many food already finish such as pasta and garlic bread, at that i order fish and chip, for the fish..the fish is not cook throughly and the batter is to thick maybe thats why the fish is not cook throughly ? for the steak its normal steak, i hope that you can improve the quality of the service and food because you cannot expect one person to take an order and serve the food right ? so i hope that you can hire more person so that the customer will not...
