Cawan Mas Coffee — Restaurant in Johor

Decor n ambience is good. But it's like an AC cafe trying to look like hawker with smell of wok.

Food : hainanese chicken rice. Rice balls cold and totally no fragrant. Almost like a ketupat. Chicken is drenched with soy sauce ...no chicken rice flavor more like chicken kicap not real hainanese rice. The tiny green sauce is ok, hv to put a lot on the rice and chicken to make it better.

Char kway tiao has some wok hei but too salty with ultra tiny cockles. Cannot compete with the taste of real hawker.

Hash brown taste like real potatoes. I still prefer md version but this one perhaps it's more healthy n less oily.

Coffee, just ok. Not kaw enough.

Not sure why the review is so high, maybe I just unlucky to order the worst 2 dishes but when I look through the reviews ppl say all food is good no one can exactly pin point which one is particularly good. So I tried my two fave n it's really below expectations.

Food rating overall average , nothing extra. But still ok. The ambiance are quite nice. Even it a closed system but find no smell on your cloth.

But please improve on your customer service!! I really need the internet connection, and its urgent. When i reached for help for wifi, the staff (i believe Bangladesh guy) responded was “ no no tak da wifi! I said i saw the wifi connection n i can i pls have the password? He replied ; no! Tak ada wifi. “

I feel dissapointed. U could just explain the wifi are for personal use or something. I would understand. But with that kind of respond? Not to mention they spill my drink on my pants.

Please bear in mind, even how tasty the food is, customer service is part of service and with this one left out even food that taste good , that will not make people remember u but how u make people feel, will be...

If your business hours say 8am on Google, then you should be fully open and ready to serve at 8am — not just started showing up at 8am to start prepping.

That’s completely unprofessional. Your staff should already be there by 6am, getting everything ready, not strolling in at 8 like it’s a casual meetup.

If you’re not ready to operate at 8, then don’t lie to customers on your google page — change your opening hours to 10am instead. Stop wasting people’s time. It’s frustrating and honestly, it’s...
