Saw their facebook post and gave it a try with Ala carte menu. Just located opposite the famous international buffet, Kuroma, with ample parking lots around.
Price is acceptable however it isn’t the taste of majority Korean restaurants though it does taste good. Their steamed eggs tasted more like those hotel buffet scramble eggs when you add all the ingredients in.
A point to note will be to ensure that charcoal grill is hot enough before cooking their pork as the grease may trap the blackness on the meat as their grills are those which are re-used after cooking, unlike those disposable grills at those yakiniku chain outlets.
We are lucky to get the seats outside where they provide a small USB fan as the environment inside isn’t well-ventilated though doors were kept open.
There’s free flow side dishes bar that has water in flask for everyone, though water isn’t cold, staff were friendly to provide ice when requested. Definitely a good deal for their opening special promo of MYR35+ (+ refers to 10%...
Read moreLocation is not too far from Singapore by driving. The restaurant is one of building among the famous restaurants and shops such as starbucks, Kuroma and Mr. DIY.
The restaurant has plenty of tables both indoors and outdoors. I chose to sit indoors but outdoor table could be good option if someone want their cloth to be free from the BBQ smell. Pork Galbi, Pork Sapgyeosal, Marinated Chicken and LA beef was served with sets of lettuces, kimchi, marshmallows and so on.
Quality of the meats was quite nice. Actually I didn't expect that much of quality as the price is so cheap. But the beef was tender, chicken was well marinated with flavourful korean sauce and pork was fresh. Kimchi Noodle was really go well with the BBQ as it is so refreshing.
The most important thing is it cost me and my wife only about RM 100. I will definitely come back with all...
Read moreFirst time here and will be the last, buffet only have two types of meat chicken (spicy marinated or not marinated) same apply for pork, disappointed. For RM38+ you can have better choice of meats elsewhere in JB. Sides are also only Kimchi (not tasty) cucumbers, radish, eggplant, pasta and mixed veggie, nothing really nice that I can remember. Once seated you will get only one plate of assorted meat (1 pieces each as per photo) and a small plate of boiled pork belly (kinda dry) the only thing is they will keep changing the grill wire which will get burnt cos of the uncontrollable charcoal fire. Is like old school BBQ with charcoal and most of the time your meat gets burnt and not cooked or overcooked as there is no staffs asking if you need...
