Few years back, way before COVID-19 pandemic, we tried the food here and we were happy with the food. It had proper & balanced authentic indian food. Now I'm very sad to say that the food is not at all tasty. We ordered the prawn satisorru and it was a major disappointment. There was no prawn taste at all. Neither did it taste like a decent Satti Sorru nor did it taste like briyani. We just ended up eating the prawns which were like so little probably 4 pieces and left the whole bowl of rice. It's sad to say that a normal stall can make better Satti Sorru. It is extremely sad that we had to pay 40bucks for something so bad and tasteless. Next was the deshelled crab. I have no words for this dish. Honestly it was extremely dry and the cumin taste were just so overpowering and we could hardly even taste anything else. The star ingredients which was suppose to be the the crab was no where to be found in this dish. We couldn't finish it. It was just too bad. Sadly I had to pay 50 bucks for this dish. Apart from this two disappointing dishes, we ordered the butter chicken, aloo paratha, crab rasam and onion pakora. Onion pakora was served just plain. We had to ask for the green chutney separately which took some time to even reach our table. Aloo paratha was very plain. Butter chicken had no smoky scent and taste which it is suppose to have. Crab rasam was packed with spices that overpowered the star ingredient again. Overall we ended up paying RM 160 plus for this dinner. I really hope Chakra takes this seriously and make time to review back your recipes. We miss the old chakra. I do apologize if it may seem harsh but this is my honest opinion and I believe that Chakra can improve because they were once really...

I recently visited this restaurant, but unfortunately, my experience was subpar. Despite ordering simple steamed rice, which is typically prepared beforehand, our food arrived extremely late.
When I inquired about the delay, our waiter claimed it was "freshly prepared." When I asked if they cook rice separately for each customer, he became defensive and rude, stating it would take another 15 minutes. Ironically, another waiter arrived with our food immediately after.
To make matters worse, the initial waiter slammed our food onto the table in anger, displaying unacceptable customer service. This kind of hostile attitude is completely unacceptable in any service establishment. During our visit, I noticed another couple leaving after canceling their order, which seems telling about the overall service quality.
In contrast, I had visited this restaurant a few months ago and received excellent service from a different waiter, it's clear that the restaurant's standards have significantly dropped. The food quality didn't redeem the poor service either.
With such hostile service and mediocre food, I won't be returning. There are plenty of other restaurants that treat their customers with...

I am writing this feedback to bring into attention for an issue which I have experienced in Chakra Indian Cuisine Johor Bharu today. I ordered a Vegetarian Briyani, and halfway through my meal, I found flies inside the food. Immediately I try to approach the duty staff there at the restaurant, but no one available at that hour to assist me.
After sometime, I was approached by one Indian man and I showed the flies to him. I do explain that I have paid for the food about RM37.10 using my bank card and I was not fully satisfied with what I have paid for. He was very understanding and requested me to wait a while.
After few minutes, he approached me again and apologize for the inconvenience cause and accepted their mistake. He also have refunded my money genuinely.
This was my first visit to the restaurant, even though I am not fully enjoyed the food, but they was very genuine and handle customer with full of ethics.
I would suggest that they can be more careful while serving the customer based on their request and give importance to hygiene while...
