To my opinion, this has happen several times on visit here. Your staff is more concern about entertaining customers that look like big shot or even singaporean families. I was there alone to have my lunch on a normal friday which i have anticipated to be busy. It was busy and even some empty tables which had left behind plates on them. Upon getting my lunch fixed, i put my platr on a table where there were still uncleared plates. I requested the waiter to clear those plates and i went off to wash my hand. Upon returning, those plates were still there and i pushed it aside so i can enjoy my meals. I truly believe you guys were short handed and might need some time to clear it. Im almost halfway on my meal , still plates were not cleared and no drinks order were asked... and finally waiter came to take a look whats on my plate to serve me with my bill... mind you, by this time most tables were cleared for customers that come after me. And they look like gov staffs or even working ppl came for lunch. Your cashier had the cheek to tell me to find an empty clean table if i dun like sitting at tables with uncleared plates! Its was almost fully occupied and i had to sit on which ever table is available to me. He was not sorry and did not even care bout it at all.. he was to quick to set the next table to welcome a chinese family which is still in line to take their food. Why there is double standard? Am i eating for free?? Or do the other ppl leave them a big tip and they expect the same from me? Im no against foreign workers in our land, but ur staff who thinks that he owns the shop, i believe he needs to know how to behave and address customers! I got a number from another waiter apparently claims to be the owner. Told him all bout what happen. He response was to check and call me back! Guess thats not gonna happen as i think your stall here chooses who to serve better just for the...

Arrived for a late lunch. This place was highly recommended by a local client. Verdict - Best salt fish curry in jb! Truly delicious. I had just that with spinach & Dhall curry and a handful of papadam for only rm9. Will be back to try the other dishes. Everything looks and smells great! Can’t wait to visit again.

We returned the next day to try out the other dishes. Was a little disappointed with the fried fish - it was cold, not crispy and a little bland. However the salt fish curry made up for the meal. Tried the chicken varuval which was delicious. Had the deep fried bitter gourd too. It was nice. Meal went well with rasam. Had teh halia to complete the meal. Tea was a let down. :(

2 days later - Couldn’t resist another visit. Was pleasantly surprised to find crab curry on the counter! Had the crab curry and it was delicious. Crab curry is only available on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Crab was a little small but it’s yummy. Apparently briyani is also only available on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays too. Did not get a chance to try it. Can’t wait to visit again

Another 2 days later - Visited yet again. 😛 This time had BLR with the salted fish curry and tried the chicken curry. The usual fare was great but the chicken curry was a let down. Note to self - Better stick to the chicken varuval next time. Gave the teh halia Kurang Manis another try - it was much better this...

This used to be our fav banana leaf place. But our experience today completely turned us off. Service is horrible!! Chicken was depleting and completely left with bones at 1.30pm. Asked the server and he said ok will top up. So we went to sit at the table. Sat for 10 mins and nobody came to top up. Asked another person, he said the same thing will top up. Waited another 5 mins. Nothing. Woke and asked another server again. He rudely replied to me even seeing that I'm pregnant. No consideration no politeness at all! No manners! He told me "of course need to cook need time!". But you guys didn't say that you guys need to cook. And we asked twice. Otherwise I would not have waited like a dumb person waiting for nothing. And I would not have ordered a drink. Also, when you guys see the food depleting, can't you cook then?? So inconsiderate towards customers. Its peak lunch time.

What irks me the most is how rudely the server with beard behind the counter replied to me. Like as if magically I will know you didnt cook it yet. Let the customer know then! Even if Your food can be OK but if your service sucks, people.will...

Best Tandoori Chicken that I had so far. The spice was so flavourful, chicken was succulent and the char was just nice to enhance the flavour. We ordered 2 sets of Tandoori Chicken eating with 2 Naan breads, plus ice milk tea and Teh Tarik for 2 of us. Total cost was RM30 for 2 of us. We tried the Tandoori Chicken 2 years ago before pandemic. Surprisingly, the quality of the food especially the Tandoori Chicken is well maintained. We also went for breakfast 2 weeks ago where they serve Roti Canai, Thosai, Nasi Lemak, Murtabak Chicken etc. The roti was served with 4 types of sauce/ gravy which enhances the enjoyment for the roti. Simply love the spices and flavourful gravy they serve. Price is very reasonable too. Highly recommended if you are looking for good quality of Indian Food. Thumbs up!

This is my first time visiting this restaurant, which was recommended by a friend, and their Tosei Rumah and Roti Kosong are delicious. Their kuah is superb. I also bought their Apom Manis, which I thought were too sweet, but my friend said they were delicious. Their tea is a little bland, which is OK with me because I don't like sugary foods or drinks. For me, the pricing is reasonable. I bought hot tea, iced tea, two tosei, one Roti Kosong, and one Apom Manis for RM13. They also accept cashless transactions. Because there are a limited number of parking spaces available, most customers will park their vehicles near the roadside without using the parking box. Overall, it is a good and clean restaurant, and would recommend it to my friends.
