Going from a roadside food truck during the pandemic to a permanent establishment since January 2022, 𝗜𝗸𝗵𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗲 continues its mission in serving western drinks and desserts. With its halal menu, outdoor seating and roadside location, the cafe attracts drivers needing a pit stop break as well as many Muslim customers.

Amongst its dessert offerings, which are mostly cakes, the 𝗣𝗮𝘃𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗮 stands out visually due to its round shape and fruit toppings. Unfortunately, there’s nothing spectacular to find in terms of flavour. The meringue is overly sweet, which conflicts with the tang and sour notes of the strawberries and blueberries. Perhaps the most compelling reason to try it out would be its roots in Australian and New Zealand culture.

This cafe also has a small selection of savoury dishes, one of which, the 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗶𝗲, is not to be missed despite its small portion. Made in-house, the pastry had a flakey and airy texture, complementing the soft creamy potato and chicken filling.

If you’re a coffee lover, this café is a definite must-visit. Seriously, the quality is through the roof.

The coffee taste and the latte art must come from a very experienced barista. Every sip is a testament to skill—the cafe latte is superb, and the craftsmanship elevates the whole experience.

It’s my favorite spot to enjoy a night coffee. The vibe is perfect for relaxing later in the evening with a beautifully crafted cup.

In addition to the superb coffee, the price is below average for this standard, making it an incredible hidden gem.

Highlight: Of course, the coffee is the star, but don't skip the pastry! They are the perfect accompaniment to the perfect brew.
