The staffs and the boss(?) were super welcoming, always wishing welcome/selamat datang to those who come to the cafe. It's situated among the houses, on the roadside. It's a bit of a climb, so no wheelchairs access, and the elderly needs to be extra careful. I had chicken and beef satays, and Laksa Johor.
Laksa Johor's broth was thick, but wasn't too thick, and spicy. It had lots of black pepper up to the point, it's missing the laksa johor taste. Since the noodle part uses spaghetti, it wasn't al dente. So, it's very mushy that it didn't feel like noodles anymore. In general it's okay, but I won't order it again.
Beef satay on the other hand was tender, but a bit too sweet for my liking (unsurprising, as sugar helps tenderising the meat, but maybe too much?) Chicken was okay though a bit dry. The peanut sauce wasn't spicy at all. So good news to people who don't eat chilli.
I would come again, but try something...

Surprisingly, only the kuih Lopes met our expectations.
Perhaps it was an off day, but I do hope the management will review the food quality, as it didn’t match the wonderful service and ambiance...

I noticed they thoughtfully provided toys and snacks for a family with young children—such a nice touch to keep the little ones entertained without gadgets.
Absolutely loved the teh tarik—thick, rich, and full of flavour. The nasi lemak was good too, though the sambal was a bit too sweet for my taste. Some might enjoy it, but I personally prefer sambal with a spicier, less sweet kick. Prices are reasonable, and the satay was...
