Had lunch at Dapoq Schombi in Johor Bahru today and it was a great experience! I had the nasi minyak with Ayam Masak Merah – the rice was fragrant, fluffy, and flavorful, and the chicken was tender with just the right amount of spice. The pickled vegetables on the side were fresh and added a nice crunch. My friend ordered the nasi lemak with fried chicken – crispy outside, juicy inside, and paired perfectly with the sambal. There was also some takeaway ice cream if you want dessert. Interesting flavours but execution didn't quite hit the mark.
Staff were friendly and as most of the food was pre-cooked, they didn't take too...
