Last night, my family and I enjoyed an amazing dinner at a local steamboat restaurant, and it was truly a memorable experience. We opted for the family steamboat, and from the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The variety of ingredients offered was fantastic, with everything being incredibly fresh. The seafood was succulent, and the vegetables were crisp, making each selection a delight.
The highlight of our meal was the soup base, which was rich and flavorful. It enhanced all the ingredients we cooked, creating a delicious blend of tastes that we couldn’t get enough of. We had a great time experimenting with different combinations, and each bite was more satisfying than the last.
Additionally, the service was exceptional. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring that our needs were met throughout the meal. They were quick to refill our soup and check on us, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, our dinner was a fantastic family outing. With fresh ingredients, a delightful soup base, and great service, I highly recommend this steamboat restaurant for anyone looking for a fun and delicious dining experience. We left feeling full and happy, already planning...
Read moreThe restaurant is using a "lighter" to ignite the gas stove. I was alone, concentrating on reading an urgent WhatsApp message when I suddenly heard a "POP" and felt a wave of heat on my face. I quickly jumped up, looked around, and asked, "What’s happening?" I saw the "foreign" waiter smiling at me with an expression that seemed to say, "What’s the big deal?" Meanwhile, another "foreign" lady supervisor immediately instructed the waiter to change the gas stove. She then used a "lighter" to ignite the new stove, but did not respond or explain (not even an apology) for the incident. I could still smell a very strong gas odor even with the new stove.
I have been visiting this restaurant for at least 20 years, when it was managed by a hardworking and friendly local husband and his pretty wife. It is very sad to see the decline in the standards of this...
Read moreHave to admit our family has a bit of sentimental attachment to this place. After all, we’ve been eating it since it was just a much humbler business with one shop house and one soup (and the one dragon fish). Very glad to find that after 2 years, things have gotten even better. More varieties of soup (although we still choose original only) food portion still an overestimate (we still order 2 for 4 pax). We also like everything that was served. Even our boy who absolutely hated tofu ate the fried fish tofu without suspicion. The condiment options were adequate, we were even more pleasantly surprised by a staff who cleaned up that table every 30min. Soup is free flow (in fact, kettles were next to our table, we could pour ourselves). Services were good too. Despite rather busy setting, staff came promptly at...
