Updating my review from 2017.
Today is early April 2022. The borders just opened and I had to make the trip down to the coffeeshop I have patronised since 2017.
Back here after more than 2 years since the border closed. So glad and excited my favourite kolo mee is still around. The taste is how I just remember it to be. The couple is still running the business.
For now, the coffeeshop opens at 5am. Possibly in the near future they will open earlier to cater to the working crowd across the causeway and also the nightlife crowd.
The Penang CKT has been long gone. Before the pandemic the couple had retired and passed the business to their relative. Probably the pandemic killed the business and the best Penang CKT is now gone. In its place now is a dimsum stall which I have not tried.
The mee hoon kway still is also gone, just as the stall which used to sell meatball noodles. Sadly the owner of the latter passed away sometime last year and hence they decided to close the business.

Did not have much time for other stall, anyway this is a nice good place to have a meal. You may even choose to have a seat outside, provided when weather is not hot. Beat time will...

The Liu Sha Bao wasn’t great so skip that. Siumai was average and the charsiew Cheongfun had too little filling also the cheongfun texture was good + the...
