0 star if i could. Definitely not value for money. SGreans should steer away especially and especially so for seafood as staff quotation was hesistant and sus, doubt this is the price they charge locals. $40 for a piece of normal tofu? $150 for 1 crab? $2.5 for 1 bowl of white rice? 1 piece of prawn for $28 each? We decided to go ahead because we were hungry and passed by and its also supposedly big as mentioned by staff and the staff guaranteed fresheness when we ordered but end up the meat is all stuck to the shell hard to even consume. He also mentioned that they are only left with big crab so we got no choice too. We ordered big head prawn as well but both the sizes definitely did not live up to the price they charged. The normal prawn also has more meat and head is bigger than this supposedly better grade prawn. The crab was also very dry even though its supposedly their signature and turns out their staff really forget to gave us sauce for it. It is our first and definitely our last. Eat here at your own risk. JB has lots of nicer eateries that does not make you feel like a scam and taste way better. Bring your $320 to another higher class restaurant that allows you to order more and more filling than a roadside shop thats so unsastisfactory. Way to go...
Read moreSince we were around the area saw this Chinese restaurant, which looks decent asked the price of the crab first before heading in. Don't wanna get a shock after 😆
One thing we felt uncomfortable was that since there wasn't many people eating, it was a Friday night, the service staff will like keep looking at our table while we eat.......
Was thinking about what sauce to cook the crab and the lady said their signature was the BBQ style Crab, but not very shiok la. Some parts of the crab were dry maybe due to it being BBQ 🤔 and they gave a sriracha mayo sauce which was odd also. Does not go well with it.
𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮-𝘀𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗽𝗼𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗻 - We previously had something like that at Restoran Todak for RM20 and it was superb! However over here it is sweet in taste, not say not nice just odd taste loh.
𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗻 - Taste is good but more towards the saltier side with fragrance dried shrimps.
𝗚𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗦𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 - We couldn't finish the rest of the dishes but wanted to get a fish dish, was told the whole fish all so big best to get slice fish so we got this instead.

Read moreWe ordered their signature bbq crab. We were asked to have 2 small ones or 1 big ones as there is only 2 of us. We ordered 1 big one at rm154. The size of the crab is not as expected. I thought it is the small one. The meat is abit dry and not tasty. The sauce that were given to go with the bbq crab is like Thai chilli sauce mixed with mayo. Totally dunno what’s the sauce for.
Garlic fried kangkong, too oily and overcooked.
Salted egg sotong. Thick batter and too oily and not much salted egg sauce and tatse.
Lala soup. Disappointing as well. Lack of the lala taste, tasted like peppery egg drop soup.
Atmosphere: too many house flies. Even though they give us an auto spinner that ward off flies, but the flies just gets more and more as we eat. They are a bunch of commando flies that are seasoned to battle the spinner and comes back very strong.
The price is also higher compared to many other places where they serve better tasting food. Total...
