紫薇園 Zi Wei Yuan x 鸡煲之家 Chicken Claypot House Tebrau JB — Restaurant in Johor

Another TikToker suggested us here, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We opted for the duo-pot with Groupa fish head soup base and a stir-fried sesame oil chicken set accompanied by six other small dishes. Though we regretted adding more à la carte dishes due to overeating, the overall freshness of the food and the flavorful, collagen-rich soup were highlights.

The staff was mostly friendly, but some lacked efficiency in refilling the soup, despite making regular rounds (a table bell was provided for calling them).

On the downside, the recommended sour plum drink was bland, and the pot preparation time was around 25 minutes. Another unexpected disappointment was the RM 2.15 charge per person for sauce from the counter, which was unlimited – a contrast to other places offering free steamboat sauces. Lastly the parking was RM10 for a merely 2hrs which can be a big turn off too!

Despite these drawbacks, we spent around RM 300 for four people and intend to return to try...

My recent visit to Inhapiness Dinner on 12/11/23 left me with mixed feelings. While the food was passable considering the high prices, a significant issue arose with the parking situation. Despite the information board clearly stating free parking for the first 2 hours, the counter failed to inform us. Consequently, we were charged when we tabbed out using Touch'n Go. This lack of communication regarding the parking policy created an unexpected and frustrating experience. I hope Inhapiness Dinner addresses such discrepancies in the future to ensure a smoother and more transparent customer experience.

Came here and ordered the claypot chicken and fish soup. Asked the waitress if there was any butter in the products and waiter denied. Food was served and we realized that there was milk in the fish soup. Asked the waiter if there was an option to give a normal soup base since one of us was lactose intolerant.

After a while, the manager came and served us with a big pot of soup and it came along with some pieces of fried fish.

Was pleasantly surprised with the gesture! And we were not charged for the extra soup and fish. Not sure who the manager was, but thank you, I appreciate...
