This is one of the Bigger Eatery in Beletime Mall. Very Family Friendly, with a almost Fast Food type of Feel. The place is Well Kept and Clean and the Staffs are Very Friendly, Jolly and Bubbly and have a Very Welcoming Feel.
Chicken Rice is of course their Forte, but they also do provide other Local Eats in their Menu. The Signature Roasted Chicken Rice is the Top Item in their Top 10 List, so of course I had to give this a try. Took about 4 Mins for it to Serve Up.
There are 4 Condiment Sauces on the Side.
Red Condiment is Chilli Sauce and has a Very Prominent Taste of Lime and Calimansi. The Taste of this is Predominantly Sourish but the Most Surprising thing is this is Completely Non-Spicy. Not even abit Spicy at all which felt abit strange because usually Chicken Rice Red Chilli is Spicy. It's so not spicy, I reckon even Children will have no issues with this.
Green Condiment is Gingerish in Taste and this one has abit of Spicy Kick with a Heat that will Linger on your Tongue. I reckon this is the Classic Chicken Rice Ginger Paste although I'm not sure what gave it its Green Colour because Ginger Paste is Traditionally Yellow in Colour. Perhaps they mixed in Green Chilli with it?
Black Condiment is a Thick Sweet Soy Sauce mixed with Chilli. This one is the Spiciest of them all and is Noticeably Spicier than the Green Ginger Paste. I reckon Chilli Padi is the Main Heat Provider here. Not only will the Spiciness linger on your Tongue, it may even sting abit if you cannot take Spicy Foods.
The Last Condiment looks like Light Soy Sauce but is actually Fish Sauce. It was a very interesting choice to use Fish Sauce instead of Soy Sauce for Chicken Rice.
Signature Roasted Chicken Rice = RM13.80 (Add RM2.00 if you want Drumstick)
When it first arrived, I was immediately impressed with the Generous Portion of Chicken Meat given. Even the Amount of Rice felt alot more Generous than Usual compared to alot of other Chicken Rice Specialty Eateries I've eaten so far in JB.
The Chicken Rice itself has a Very Nice Chickeny Fragrance wafting from it. 有香气. It has a somewhat Softer and Oily Texture to it. This is not bad.
Chicken pieces are mostly Thick Cut Pieces of Chicken Breasts and a Mid-Wing. Even though Chicken Breasts, the Meat is Wet and Juicy, doesn't taste Overly Chickeny, and I like that the Meat has a Tender Soft Texture that crumbles easily in your Mouth.
While the Skin doesn't have a High Level Smoky Flavour like the Brilliant Hong Sing I reviewed previously in Taman Johor Jaya, it does still have a Nice Roasted Taste to it. The Zhup that accompanies this Chicken Meat Platter is Sharply Salty and can really Kickstart your Appetite.
Chicken Soup is also very Competently Made. Warm and Comforting, the Chicken Taste in here is actually Quite Robust but not Overly Obtrusive and also Not Overly Salty. Not bad bowl of Chicken Soup.
Every Component of this Set Meal works well, from the Rice to the Chicken to the Soup. Each of them stand on its own and when combined worked nicely together.
Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
Pleasantly surprised at how good this Chicken Rice set was and especially Value for Money seeing the Generous Amount of Chicken Meat given for its Asking Price.
Total Combined Price of RM15.30 (S$4.50) is Worth the Money to come give this a Try.
Ultimately though, Value-Added as this place may be, and how Friendly and Welcome this place made me feel, the Quality of the Roasted Chicken here slightly falls short in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, It is Nice, but if comparing the other Roasted Meats I've eaten in JB so far, it just falls short of me giving my Top Score for it.
If you are ever here in Danga Bay though, I have no issues recommending this place to eat.

Read moreWe stood at restaurant entrance. There are countet staffs, they saw us but moved inside the counter. We decided to wait for awhile, assuming they are busy. We saw empty tables, uncleared, decided to move to the inner part of restaurany with clean tables but was stopped by countet staff. Can sit around here only abang! Pointed to the busy part of the restaurant with uncleared tables. We heeded and walked over to a corner table which was uncleared. By the time we sat, there was another group of family at the main entrance, waiting. They were welcomed warmly by counter staff and immediately led to a table which was promptly cleared. Their order were also taken immediately. We understand maybe they booked or whatsoever, but still customers are customers. Bad customer service and very judgemental. Spoily our appetites and not worth giving a chance. Countet staff, short man saw us but still ignored us. Please take note of...
