Yi San Thai restaurant — Restaurant in Kedah

Was pleasantly surprised to dine in a week ago when food was laid out on complimentary basis by the boss lady as she was celebrating her birthday!

There was a spread of simple fried noodles and rice dishes accompanied with chicken wings, stir fried beef, pork and vegetables with chicken slices.

After helping ourselves to the spread we returned to our seat to find a whole fried fish on a steaming burner awaiting us. It was most delicious.

The boss lady brought us beers and mineral water and we toasted to her good health! Happy blessed...

Food tasted horrible. The only decent dishes was the papaya salad and fish. The Tom yum gung tasted horrible. Even the worker tasted ours and said it was done incorrectly but they still dared to bill us for it.

We ordered the fried chicken wings, they cut the chicken wings into small pieces and serve it as popcorn chicken style (with bones).

The workers mostly speak Thai. Hard to communicate as well. Even the bill was written in Thai. One of the worst Thai food I have eaten. Totally...

Went here with my husband around 11pm, and honestly it was such a good experience! The food was really tasty and the uncle at the shop was super friendly. Prices are very reasonable, and what I loved most is that we requested dishes not even on the menu (anchovies krabu & chicken paprik) & and they prepared them immediately for us. 🙌 The Thai tea was my absolute favourite.. so yummy! 🧋 This place is highly recommended for late-night lepaking.
