I recently visited an Arabic restaurant and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. We were recommended the Mix Grilled platter by the staff but it did not meet our expectations at all. All the kebabs served were dry and lacked flavor. The meat was overcooked and tough to chew.
Instead of the rice we were expecting, they brought us a large portion of French fries which was not what we wanted with our meal. We had specifically hoped for a proper dish with rice but they gave us bread instead. The bread was undercooked and tasted doughy. It felt like the meal was thrown together without any care or attention to detail.
For a restaurant that presents itself as serving authentic Arabic cuisine, the overall quality was far below standard. The presentation of the food was not appealing either. It lacked freshness and seemed rushed.
We left feeling unsatisfied and disappointed especially considering the price we paid. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a proper Arabic meal. There are definitely better options out there with higher quality food and better...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant on 16 February 2025 at 09:30 pm and had a very unpleasant experience with the Syrian cashier. Upon discovering a hair in our food, we politely informed him. Instead of offering an apology or addressing the issue professionally, he rudely claimed that the hair belonged to us as customers. We never requested a refund or any discount—our only concern was to bring the matter to his attention.
To make matters worse, the cashier began passing racial comments, which was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. It was also disheartening to see him yelling at the Pakistani staff, who were otherwise kind, respectful, and accommodating throughout our visit.
In my country, INDIA, the customer is always right, and such disrespectful behavior would never be tolerated. While the food and other staff members were pleasant, the cashier’s attitude left a negative impression. Management should take action to ensure a respectful and welcoming environment for all customers...
Read moreWe read the reviews and walked a mile or so looking forward to a nice meal. We had a mixed experience overall. The drinks were nice as was the salad. However, the falafel was slightly disappointing as they were bland and there was no accompanying sauce (in other restaurants some tahini sauce is normally provided). The chicken shawarma was also tasteless and lukewarm. For the price charged, we'd have expected it to be cooked fresh but the fries had obviously been cooked earlier as they were stone cold. We were served by a polite enough waiter who, apart from taking the order and collecting payment, showed no interest whatsoever in whether we were enjoying the meal despite us being the only customers in the restaurant. In case anyone had asked, we would have mentioned the above. Finally, a word on price. This was the most expensive middle eastern restaurant we visited in Kuah but the food, on average, was not a match for either of the other two restaurants. Not...
