It has been a long time since i contribute to this. So here i am with my cafe hunting started with Yoohoo Dessert Cafe. Firstly, this cafe is only for dessert guys. Please aware of that. My first experience here is because my friends & i want to have lunch but unfortunately we did not know that this cafe only served desserts. So pity us to have desserts first before our meal. Note that when it comes to desserts, everything is sweet. My greatest regret is that we ordered too much food for 2 persons. Barely can finish it. Their kakigori is delicious since Kelantan does not have any Mykori outlet. So this cafe is the one that serve it. The toast & waffle also have great taste. But i more prefer to toast because their toast is soft & thick. My recommendation is when you go with 2 only order one plate of toast/waffle since it is so sweet that you barely manage to survive. I am not so good with something that is too sweet. But i like their coffee. So tasty & delicious because i am a coffee maniac. As you can see the pictures, everything comes with icecream & a little cup of sweet dressing to match with every single dishes. I order strawberry chocolate toast that come with chocolate dressing. Can you image the toast already served with 2 scoop of icecream, strawberry and chocolate. Then a little cup of dressing is also sweet. I manage to finish all since the price is quite high. My cousin order royal thai tea that with boba that cost RM 10 while me ordered signature Kopi thtat cost around RM 6 and above. So that is all from me. Do enjoy going to this cafe since the environment is lovely and the...
Read moreWe love the salted caramel soft serve and the banana and strawberry waffle. I generally prefer more creamier ice cream but their thinner ice cream balances well with the rest of the ingredients. The delicate shaved ices were lovely too. The dishes were so pretty and photo friendly. The place was clean and the service friendly.
I ordered hot latte but it tasted burnt and a bit too acidic to my liking. Just a heads up and this is by no means a negative comment: they only do desserts, no hot meals. I mistakenly came with a belly ready for dinner and it was slightly disappointed.
Space is limited but we went on a week night where we managed to get the last few seats indoor. We came in a large group with children (one with tonsilitis, one was cranky, the rest were just being kids), and the staff was absolutely wonderful, helped us with the table and chairs and brought the dishes promptly.
There are only 3 parking slots in front of the shop, with more across the road. A big road, with lots of traffic.
I love the offering (the dessert, ambiance, service) despite the other negatives, it was a very pleasant...
Read moreIt's a very nice place to chill. Instagram crack heads would forget about eating and just post photos of their food because of how nicely presented their food is. The two food items I tried, I did not regret buying. Granted that it was my sister who paid. LOL.
The establishment does seem premium and luxurious and the prices compliment that. When I visited, I ordered a caramel pudding at the price of RM5. It tasted heavenly, but the proportion is not one that you will fill your stomach. I also ordered a strawberry bingsu that was just amazing. I took a spoonful of the ice like it was nothing. It was definitely a nice change from the ABC I always get at the kampung. The bingsu also tasted extraordinary. It towered up to my chin as I sat down trying to maneuver my spoon into it without it toppling. All for the price of RM18.90
The restaurant is located at an awkward position near a 4-way junction, this would make finding a place to park your car quite difficult. And some of the chairs are slightly moldy.
I will definitely...
