Konoha Japanese Buffet — Restaurant in Kelantan

I rarely write a review. Usually i write when it is really bad or really good only. And this place is the latter! 10 out of the 10! So worth it to eat here. The price is super affordable, only rm35 per head which is wayyy cheaper than other major steamboat and buffet restaurants. The marination on the beef, chicken and lamb are really delicious and the green coriander sauce is chef kiss! It works so well with the meat. Besides that the ready made food is really delicious compared to other steamboat restaurant that only serve cincai food. I had the fried rice and fried kueytiow, they taste so good and well seasoned. The ayam masak merah taste like the one you can get at kenduri which really blows my mind. The chefs take their food seriously here. I also had the shellout option. Only add rm10 and you can choose as many seafood as you want to be cooked in curry or buttermilk sauce. I chose buttermilk and woww so good! I finish the whole thing myself! Another thing get the tomyam for your steamboat because just wow, the tomyam is thick and very tomyummy 🤤. Another plus, the staff are super friendly and helpful. I definitely enjoyed my experience eating here and will definitely come again when I went back to kelantan. Congratulations team konoha. Please keep up the quality and keep the same...

Sumimasen ! Went to Konoha Buffet with my wife and kids just now trying to have a decent dinner but instead, I got disrespected at the damn cashier counter by some guy who looked like the manager. Tie on, acting important, but no basic manners. Out of nowhere, he started talking down to me, getting rude and even personal right in front of my family.

At the cashier, l was being humiliated. Like what the.. I did nothing wrong zzz . I held back because my wife was there, but I was fuming. No apology, no explanation, nothing. Just attitude. It wasn’t even him who tried to fix things another staff member had to step in and calm me down. That says everything.

If your own manager is the problem, what does that say about the whole place? This was supposed to be a nice family night. Instead, it turned into a complete embarrassment.

Trash customer service, zero respect, and an ego-driven manager who clearly forgot he’s in the hospitality business. First and last time stepping into that place. I don’t care how good your food is if you treat paying customers like garbage, you don’t deserve the business.

What did u mean by the first outdoor buffet when the is a roof on top of your head??

The entrance really have the wow factor in design, but as u walk in, damned the tables were awfully closed to each others. Atmosphere was hot as F. The queue for payment was damned slow.

As for the food, not so much..i did understood the limited choice of food to meet your RM35 per head..but the foods are bland..tasteless..its really not worth the money you pay.

We bring 1 children under 5 yrs old, he can go in for free since u only charged child above 6, but that doesn't mean you should deny him at least an empty cup for drinks. Or they are not suppose to eat? Only seat and watch? And this is the first time i found a buffet restaurant ration for their cutlery..we paid for 2 adult, and 1 free admission 5 yrs old, then we only can have 2 sets of spoons and forks..🤣🤣

I'm really sorry on the bold negative comment, only expressing my personal first time experience here. But i can tell many others are having a better time here...
