Hibachi Sushi & Robata — Restaurant in Klang Municipal Council

As some user reviewed before, the Chinese waiter was definitely NOT OK! He seriously shouldn’t be a part of this restaurant as it will bring trouble to others working hard in there. The others were very friendly though. We explained that the food wasn’t fresh but he insisted that it was imported from Japan, as if it was PERFECT and FLAWLESS because it was from Japan. I honestly don’t understand what he was referring to? Things get bad even if it’s from Japan ok? He was also speaking loudly and of course very rudely and really spoiled my appetite. As a customer, pointing out what was wrong would actually help the restaurant get better or whatever, but our feedback from the waiter was somewhat disappointing. We explained that we’ve been ordering that specific dish for loads of time, but the Chinese guy asked if we’ve ordered for a 100 times, as if we weren’t familiar with the taste. He kept interrupting before we stopped our sentence, we started with: as a customer… But he instantly stated that he was also a CUSTOMER! What NONSENSE! He seriously had some serious attitude problems and this needs to be fixed! Seriously disappointing, it was the first time I bought my mom to try this restaurant I’ve always been talking about to her. But now, I don’t think this restaurant is up to our standards, and I won’t be stepping...

Had dinner there and ordered the sushi to unagi set. The food was good but I was unhappy with service for a few reasons. Mainly the menu is very misleading. There wasn’t a clear indication of the price because it was replaced with some paper. Was surprised to be charged RM58.50 for it later. The unagi served was half the size of that indicated in the menu. The menu indicated that there would be 6 sashimi slices but it was only 3 that was cut into half which was very disappointing considering the price. Asked if I could switch out the chawan mushi to and inari or something else because I can’t have egg, was said that due to “cost” I could only have another salad (which was just lettuce) or miso soup. Would have been fine with it if they were not stingy with portion of the food. The menu indicated there would be agedashi, but was also missing in the set. This restaurant has been my go to place for Japanese food in Klang. The food is fresh and fantastic. The place is cozy and best is the owner is always so friendly and recommending the best fresh sashimi. Unfortunately today Mother's day where I just wanted to enjoy a good meal with my daughter. Afraid that it might be full then the kind waiter ask if the counter table will be ok for us to which I agree that I don't mind. As we sat down, the so call manager in front of us scolded his waiter saying that we couldnt take in anymore. It was not handled professionally. As a restaurant, if you couldn't take in anymore customer, put up a sign at the front door "FULL". Then that would've save the embarrassment of me and my girl being asked to leave the restaurant.
