Came to have vegetarian on Mid Autumn Festival day itself and wasn't disappointed. As the actual day is the 15th day of the Lunar calendar, therefore it is a common day to have vegetarian but it took us only 10mins of waiting time to get a table despite it was full house.
After ordering our dinner dishes, we were presented with 1 mooncake each (didn't manage to take a photo) as part of the occasion which was really unexpected! Despite the mini size, still it was a warm gesture and it tasted really good! Not too sweet and freshly made by them, which adds further authenticity.
We ordered 5 dishes in total, namely the Szechuan Soup, Rendang, Ginger Steamed Fish, Xiang Chun Monkey Head Mushroom and Ying Yong Kai Lan for 4 pax, serving was sufficient and we were left with a satisfied experience.
The waitress mistakenly gave us Ginger Steamed Chicken instead of fish, but nevertheless it was alright. Just that the ginger was blended a bit too fine, if not it would have been perfect.
Overall food presentation, taste and quality is great, it shows that they put effort rather than just depending on sauces to create taste which is common in most vegetarian outlets.
Definitely a gem in OUG and worth trying for the...

Their lotus root dishes are surprisingly tasty. Assam “Fish” is nice too, not really spicy but has the sourish feel to it, which I like. Well, actually all the dishes I tried are really nice. (Refer to the pictures)
In addition to that, their teapot set looks great, while the tea they serve is quite tasteful and fresh (doesn’t feel cheap). They also serve mango pudding as well.
The meal pricing is moderate (sub RM25, 2 pax shared 2 dishes, with tea, and rice). It is unfortunately not as cheap, but it has a sense of quality in their dishes. Nonetheless, it is best to eat with someone else (2 pax at least) since you can order several dishes and share (i usually order 2 dishes to share with another pax). Most of their dishes have a small or large size, so in case if you have a larger group, feel free to get the larger size (the pictures are all in small sizes).
Do not be fooled by the restaurant’s name. Yes it might feel abnormal to have a restaurant to be named as IJT, but do not let that from discourage you from trying out this place. Will still come...
