Rare gem. Very addictive taste of teochew. They moved from next kopitiam to became an individual restaurant now. Must order their braised tofu, braised pork intestines, braised duck, pickled vege, braised pig’s ear pair perfectly nice with a bowl of hot sweet potato porridge.

Quality mantained, freshly braised everyday. No AC, can be stuffy depending on weather. They do not serve the usual teh ping kopi ping all, just normal homemade herbal tea and fresh fruit juice.

It can be cheap when you order (specially remark) that you want everything to put in 1 plate, regardless how many dishes you ordered, then it will be for 1 pax.

If you ordered a few different dishes, and wanted it to serve separately, it will be quite costly.

Try it and you’ll know. Overall it is definitely worth paying a visit. I’m a regular customer.

This shop has been in Yulek for ages, from father to son. Have eaten close to 20 years, still find it tasty.

One of the best teochew braised duck, braised chicken and etc. First timer must try their " ham choy*. Meat are tender, the sauce glueyiness is just right. Can be a bit salty for some, but you can wash away with the soup. Same soup everyday. Clean place.

When was working in PJ tried a few teochew, nothing comes close to this . The one in pj old town, the one in uptown and etc, just nope. Either duct meat is too hard or soft, or the sauce is not right.

Even his braised egg is cooked nicely and consistently.

They have expanded by relocating to a proper shop same row with their original stall at the corner shop at Taman Cheras or Yulek. Their range of teowchew cuisine is quite wide and is one of the tastiest we have tried in this part of the town, at least. Their braised duck meat and pork intestine, Nd pickled vegetables are really topnotch, and complement beautifully with their classic chili sauce.
