Honestly speaking, the price is not cheap.. Not everyone affordable...
Not kids friendly restaurant and not much choice.. Very limitation choice and flavour only..(p/s: no fried rice, no fried noodle, don't serve any chicken, pork, lamb or beef, don't serve any egg or taufu... Only serve seafood)
The taste so so only. Especially the kam heong bamboo she'll, taste no good... Seafood pot lack of wine n ginger taste.. Bake big head prawn taste salty only, lucky dip with the chili sauce.. So end up consider delicious.
Conclusion, among all the dishes the most delicious is the lady finger (this is the only veg they have in their menu) .. This must try..
We ordered 1pc big head prawn, 1 small seafood pot, 1 plate siham (only have 8pcs siham) , 1 small plate bamboo she'll, 1 small plate bake fish, 1 small plate lady finger, 2 rice n 1 bottle of lo hong guo.. N this cost us rm415.
Conclusion, the seafood is very fresh but the taste so so only... Therefore feel abit wasted... Food limitation, flavours limitation too.. Not kids friendly restaurant.. N not cheap too.. Parking also...
Read moreHidden gem in No. 32 Jalan Mutiara Barat 5. This eatery place is a home based located at the corner unit and booking is required, and we booked 5.30pm dinner for 4. Food ordered (1) Seafood claypot soup (2) XXL crab cooked in salt and butter and butter creamy crab with mantou (3) XL crab (promotion price every Mon to Thurs till 31 July 2025) cooked in butter cereal and Kam Heong style (4) XL boiled cockles with special homemade chilli sauce ( 5) lady’s fingers stir fry with ikan bills. Ambience is very comfortable and the feeling of eating at home with fresh ingredients prepared by parents. Seafood is fresh especially the crabs, mantis prawns, red prawns, lala and lady's finger is stir fry to perfection maintaining the crunchiness Only setback is the cockles not fully grown and overboil thus dry texture. Overall food is yummy and recommended for friends gathering and family meals...
Read moreThis restaurant only serve seafood on their menu. And only a few specific items. They do not offer meats like pork or chicken.
Order 2 crabs cooked in Gam Heong and Butter Sauce. The butter sauce was very mindblowing.
The Bamboo Clams cooked in sambal was juicy, but it was quite spicy. Same goes for the stingray, fresh yet spicy as well. (Their Sambal tends to be on the spicer side)
Their Jumbo river prawns was another bomb. Very fresh and creamy. Definitely on par with those Michelin Thai Restaurant in Bangkok.
But overall, a good experience with fresh seafood. I believe they are in this business 🤣
Finished the dinner with their coconut pudding dessert (it was quite sweet, not for old people with diabetics)
Will drop by in the future to try out other dishes as well. Advise patrons to call and reserve in advance as space is limited.
Damage was RM747 for four...
