Fatt Hei Len beside this shop is 1000% BETTER than this shop.
If there is negative star, I would definitely rate for this trash restaurant.
Very disappointed with this shop. One of my worst dining experience.
First of all, knowing that today is a public holiday, we have made reservation earlier for 9 pax today.
My parents have purposely gone to the restaurant to make the reservation. While at the restaurant, they didn’t ask them to order the food, just took note of the number of pax.
After my parents went back, they called my parents again, asking them to order the food through phone as today will be a busy day.
The problem here: Why not asking my parents to order the food while they are still at the restaurant? Prices of food are not told to my parents.
We arrived at the restaurant at 7pm. Ordered 2 more dishes. Ridiculously, at 7:30pm, the 2 extra dishes were served first and not the ones that my parents have ordered beforehand.
We already almost finished our rice and those dishes were still not served yet. At 7:45pm the dishes were served.
The portion of tofu served was so small that could only feed about 3 pax. We confronted them about this. The staffs (I presumed was the manager) with her terrible intonation and attitude, told us that in their restaurant, they only serve small and big portion, no medium portion.
Fine.
Later on, the pork ribs were served. We ordered 5 sticks, they told will split in half which make up for 10 portions. Who knows, again, 5 ribs were served.
Come on la, there were 9 of us and why all the dish size so inappropriate for us. When we confronted them, the staffs responded with such bad tonation and attitude. Is this how this restaurant treating their customers?
Each one of the rib was already so small and after cutting left with literally nothing.
The food was so overpriced. Total damage was RM498. The chicken itself was RM128. The most expensive chicken I have ever ordered.
Worst of all, the taste of food was so so salty! Definitely did not match the price tag.
ONE OF THE WORST RESTAURANTS I HAVE...
Read moreMy friend who lives in Cheras suggested that we meet at this restaurant for dinner on Christmas Day. We only ordered 2 dishes as we were only given an hour as we didn’t make any reservation and had to return the table by 7pm. Honestly saying I won’t be returning again as I didn’t find their dishes special. But that’s not really the reason, it was the lady boss.
When my friend complaint that the 2pcs of pu’er tea that she brought was not made to her and the lady boss rudely told us that her elderly staff has thrown it away. She further said that it was not something expensive therefore my friend shouldn’t have made a fuss and she said how can she reprimand her staff. She was complaining my friend to the customer who sat next to us like what’s the fuss it was not expensive!
Instead of apologising on behalf of her staff mistake she gave us such rude reply. I am glad that I didn’t like their dried wine ginger chicken nor the lotus root fried with macadamia nuts as I could easily get it anywhere plus they only gave us 2pcs. The chicken is really hard, I am not sure it was over cooked or they used the kampung chicken. I couldn’t finished my meal and my friend had to pack the dried wine ginger home and it cost us RM94 or RM96, I honestly think the price is absurd.
Their business is definitely good maybe Cheras Chinese people like Chinese food but with such mediocre food and her rudeness it definitely...
Read moreCan't wait to try the food here. I think this new restaurant will be operational soon. When I walked past last Sunday, there seemed to be setting up the appliances as well as the furniture
Update Jan 2025 - I finally dines here last night, and the food is amazing. The steamed fish was so good, succulent, and fresh. It was a huge fish, easily weighing more than 2 kilograms. The prawns were also very good. We toosed our yee sang here and they used fresh ingredients and you can tell from each bite. The stewed pork in claypot with fish maw was also very good, slow cooked to near perfection. The service is also very good as the food arrived quickly and they are very attentive at refiling the teapot and also changing your plates. It seems a lot people favour this neighbourhood restaurant as the cars are doubles parked outside and we had look for parking far, far away. I would advise patrons to go earlier for early dinner if you would like to get a parking spot nearby. Depending on what you ordered, i find the prices to...
