Absolutely the worst dining experience Iāve ever had. The staff were incredibly rude and condescending, and their customer service was non-existent.
First, when I called to book for 13 pax, they rudely mentioned a minimum spend of RM1000 in a tone that made it seem like we couldnāt afford it. I told them that was fine. Later, we added one child, making it 14 pax, and suddenly, they forced us into a RM1500 minimum spend. Nowhere in the WhatsApp conversation did they mention this before. When I questioned why adding one child required such a price jump, they reluctantly said theyād give us a small room but insisted we sit on tiny chairs, again speaking to me in a nasty, belittling tone.
On the day of our reservation, they called me 3 hours before dinner and demanded we place our order immediately. When I asked for the menu, instead of simply sending it, they rudely told me to message another number. I did as they asked and placed my order well in advance.
When we arrived on time, the service was non-existent. We had to arrange our own chairs, plate our own Yu Sheng, and serve ourselves while the staff stood around doing nothing. Then, despite pre-ordering three hours before, we waited an hour for our food. When we asked about it, they blamed us, saying we requested the serving lateāmeanwhile, other tables who arrived at the same time had already finished eating. So what was the point of pre-ordering?
And let me make this clearāthe aunty who handles their WhatsApp is the worst. If sheās not the boss, then the actual boss should seriously evaluate her attitude, unless they want to keep losing customers in the long run.
Final Verdict:
This place is a joke. The staff treated us like we were beneath them, and their attitude was disgusting. I have never encountered such rude, incompetent service in my life. No matter how good the food is, I will NEVER return, and I would strongly advise others to stay away.
Zero stars. Avoid...

Certainly its taste wasn't as flavourful as before and it didn't impress my guests at all 𤨠Sweet potato leaves were rather old, tough, not soft, disappointing. Yam ring with buttermilk mantis prawns was the only complimenting dish. Their signature claypot fish in yellow rice wine was on the sweet side, we ordered "leem" fish head & stomach. It was served in pieces, meaty, taste was rather weird compared to the traditional soy sauce steamed fish (well it's just my taste bud, it's loved by many patrons). Reservation is necessary and go earlier is best way of getting parking too.
Good food, above average and huge portion at reasonable price, fast serving and attentive servers š Reached around 1.30pm on Monday, most tables were done eating so ours were served very fast.
Lady boss recommended their signature pao heong fan and it was truly unique, flavorful with all goodness of the sang har in the whole claypot and huge portion. There was so much ingredients in that pot and could taste the mildly burnt rice šš Yam basket with fried salted egg squid was special and good too but I'd prefer the traditional style of kong po kai ting that has a little touch of spicy and sweet in the chicken. The fried squid was tasty but a little hard. Seng kua taufu (luffa gourd) was soft, smooth and very tasty too.
The chef here executed all dishes very well, definitely cook with heart šš Parking here is super difficult as many shops placed buckets at parking lot infront of their shop to stop people...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe had a dinner here to celebrate a friendās birthday. The family style restaurant occupied around 3 shop lots with some private rooms. There were also many restaurants in the area. We ordered many dishes in order to try as many as possible. A must order is the āpau heongā rice with large river prawns. The rice with a soup stock is simply delicious with a porridge like but with crispy rice bits. The broth is so satisfyingly amazing. Next we had the steam fish in rice wine served in a casserole. The fish was fresh and nicely done. For the rest of the meal we ordered - Pork intestines with dried shrimp Butter squid with yam ring basket Tofu with minced meat River prawn noodles Pork tendon bowl Paku vegetable Some of the dishes are prepared with fish maw. Every order we had was really good with apparent wok hei. The exception was the pork tendon which is too sweet and mostly bones, canāt done much tendon. If you are looking for a good dai chow, this place is a good try. However service could be improved and the lady taking the order should be more friendly and serve...
