First got to know this shop via food delivery platform. They really put their heart and soul into their products. Everything is good here.
Deep fried yam puff has a crispy crust with generous fillings.
Forget about driving to Seremban for your Siew Bao cravings, just try theirs instead. To me, their version is even better than the famous Siew Baos in Seremban.
Their pandan lotus paste pastry with salted egg yolk and chicken floss has a nice balance between sweet and savoury.
Recently, I’m addicted to their new product- Buttermilk puff. The crust is light and flaky with generous amount of milky buttermilk fillings. Just heavenly.
Even their hot dishes taste good, Nasi Lemak is fluffy and has the “lemak” taste from the coconut milk; fried kway teow and fried mamak noodles are full with wok hei, the broth of their prawn noodles is very flavourful.
Will definitely continue to...
Read moreI make sure to drop by this shop every month whenever I send my dogs for grooming opposite. Some of my favourites are:
Taro egg tart - Crispy fluffy yam with egg custard is so satisfying.
Chocolate egg tart - Eat this when warm as the chocolate will ooze out.
Taro balls - This is the best taro ball (Wu Gok), the char siew filling is savoury (I dislike sweet2 kind) and the yam outer layer is crispy yet feels light. Better than most dim sum place.
My husband favourite is their pork siew pao: The filling is just nice, not dry nor fat. Better than most seremban siew pao.
All the egg tarts sweetness are spot on. Not too sweet and doesn’t have heavy milky taste. The ratio of milk and egg is just right with well balance dough thickness.
Hope the quality will be maintained. Try one and you won’t be able to stop coming...
Read moreI ordered the breakfast set and was informed that the coffee didn’t come with a no-sugar option. I understood and accepted that, so I requested to swap the coffee for plain ice water instead. Later, I noticed there was an additional RM1 charge for the ice.
While I understand that prices may be preset in the system, I feel it would have been a nice gesture not to charge the extra RM1 since it was a simple swap from a pricer coffee to water. A little flexibility in situations like this can really make customers feel valued.
The experience left me slightly disappointed, as I was hoping for a more customer-friendly approach. I sincerely hope the management can consider this feedback to improve future...
