What I ordered RM40 for big breakfast which is not proportionate and watery iced long black. Almost no taste of coffee at allš
Iād prefer to spend more in RGB Jln Damai knowing that they source organic and the portion is even wayy bigger for big breakfast at cheaper price. I can have 7 varieties in a plate and selection of egg prep.
Customer Service Not to mention we were given with uneasy face from the woman from the counter upon asking if can make the the egg as egg benn. āWe only do scrambled eggā ok⦠chill woman, we have greeted you at the first place but you were almost none responsive in attending customers.
Also given side eyes when we asked whether the espresso roast is served in 1 or 2 shots. Or maybe thatās really her normal expression. Not friendly at all. Might as well put someone else at the counter who loves her job.
Coffee? I donāt favour the coffee. Should have ordered on the rock as what my husband ordered, but hey, they charged you with extra RM1 for few piece of ice𤣠Also taste wise, we should have gone to another place really and enjoy our classic staple of espresso roast.
Parking? Donāt even think about it, haha itās a residential area so be mindful when you park. Lucky we went quite early for DBKL to start their workš Again, Kenny Hills and RGB have their own parking lot and itās free. Unless you cycle, might be an option for this place.
Ambience Well they really have revamped from day one but doesnāt really give extra spaces but more to cosy vibe.
Comment: Should make use of that sexy La Marzocco machine more and have other varieties of beans selection. Maybe the beans doesnāt suit our liking. Or maybe varieties is there at the first place but we just wouldnāt mind to ask as the woman at cashier is a showstopper.
Would like to hear from the Owner too as it seems the Owner is exegetic in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place certainly in my top10 cafes, why? Good vibes:- All the staff was chill, very responsive, helpful in aiding U in making decisions. Aesthetic:- I think it surely pleasing to the eyes, good ambiance, they really know to decorate despite their small lot. Good for group discussion(3-4 people) Food:- Well for food, I order pasta and taco?. I rate cafe based on pasta and of course coffee. For pasta, I ordered classic carbonara. They really know how to work on their Wagyu. I literally taste their sweet Wagyu eventho I didn't taste the wagyu yet that flavour really mix in the pasta. The Wagyu soft and a little bit chewy that's for me was the best texture for me. Coffee:- I ordered wakuachia latte( I think that's the name?). I can't say much because this is the first time I'm trying black tea combo with latte. Well the taste kinda same like coffee with coal flavour. The bitterness of the coffee plus the salty taste of the black tea to me is a weird combo but maybe it just me or I'm not used to this taste. Overall, I give it 8.5 out of 10.(Btw the 4 musketeer beef tacos really need some sauce. I mean it's okay but I can be better. Sauce recipe: mayonnaise, garlic, tumeric a little bit, lemon squish. Just do some experiment with this ingredient and add things that can suit the taste. For me the taco was tad bit expensive for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve visited this cafeĢ before and usually enjoy the food, but I was really disappointed with my experience today. I ordered Eggs Benedict, which typically comes with 63-degree eggs. From past visits, I knew I didnāt enjoy the egg whites being too soft (personal preference), so I politely asked if I could have poached eggs instead.
The waitress was kind enough to check with the manager, who then came to our table. I clearly explained multiple times that I prefer firm egg whites but still want a runny yolk. However, the manager insisted that 63-degree eggs and poached eggs are the same, which is simply not true. When she suggested boiled eggs instead, I reiterated that I specifically wanted a runny yolk, just not runny whites. Understanding that not all chefs may be comfortable making poached eggs, I then requested fried eggs instead.
What I received was disappointing; fried eggs with the yolks completely popped and cooked until hard, the exact opposite of what I had requested. It felt like my polite request was seen as unreasonable, and rather than accommodating my preference, they didnāt even bother to listen properly.
I would have appreciated a little more effort to meet my request, especially since I was clear and reasonable in my explanation. Hopefully, better attention to customer preferences can be given...
