Broasted Chicken House — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

This is my first visit there after made known through a television series "Discover Good Food in Kuala Lumpur" over RTM TV1. . Situated in a corner lot in Ampang, this outlet is situated on the first floor of shops near to the Petronas Station. . During my visit, I presume that might be this restaurant is not yet well known by the public, there are not many diners. Only around 4 tables are occupied. . Strict compliance of body temperature scanning and registration through MySejahtera only are required and checked by the staff in duty before diners are allowed to enter. . Greeted by very friendly, broad warm smiling staff, makes my visit being welcomed. I could not forget Yusuf who takes my order of his full explanation of items available in this outlet. . Scrutinising the menu placed on the ordering counter, fried chicken is the main dish. Choices of hot and spicy or original fried chicken with various combos of 2 pieces, 4 pieces or whole chicken are available. With reasonably affordable price. They too have soft drinks and hot and cold drinks too. . Upon the orders are presented on my table, I notice that the chicken pieces are large in size. Large cut potato fries and large size potato wedges. They also forward diners with chili flakes, for those who loves extra hot, garlic sause , tomato and chilli sause and extra large buns. . I ordered the 4 pieces chicken for 2 person which eventually I have to packed back 1 piece of the chicken together with the french fries and potato wedges because just by having one piece of chicken, it really fills the stomach. . I do notice that the spicy chicken is different from all other fried chicken restaurant. Other than the chicken coatings, the chicken flesh itself is spicy too . Upon asking Yusuf about it, he explains that the bare chicken is marinated in hot spicy ingredients before again before coating it with the spicy flour. This makes it taste better. . Hand Wash area and the toilet are very clean, dry and pleasant to be in. . I do recommend to all friends and families to experience...

5th time here but would probably be the last time. The front service person did not explain about the promotion when we ordered and after we finish our first meal, my girlfriend ordered a second set and only then the person told us about the promotion.

The front service said it depends on customer but without proper explaination, how would we know the difference?

Please explain to the customer because we don't know your menu, the male server just said you want set or ala carte. This is irresponsible way of handling doing business.

The first batch of meal was not ok but the second batch of fried chicken is fine.

Condiments is good as usual.

Fries today is slightly on the oily side.

Came and visit the second time, was very happy about my visit and my girlfriend is extremely happy about the fries and the garlic sauce.

The half fried chicken was tasty, juicy and tender. We also ordered the Garlic Mushroom Cheese Burger 🍔 and it was great.

The aircond was on this time round and I bump my rating to 5 stars again. 🌟

Came here to try the fried chicken but ended up ordering the beef burger.

The burger was great and the patty wasn't the usual Ramly processed patty.

The fries here were amazing. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the garlic condiment. I also like the "chilli" powder that taste special.

One thing we noticed was that the aircond was off during our visit. We assume it's because we visited the restaurant rather late.

Would definitely come pay a visit again if I want to get good fries and burger. The fried chicken would be something I look forward to order...

The best broasted chicken I’ve had in Malaysia, I’m surprised they don’t have that many customers. Comparable to the famous Al-Baik -seriously, brings me back 🥹

The thoum (garlic sauce) is thick & full of flavour The meat of the chicken falls off the bone because of how tender & juicy it is There’s a bit of a waiting time because everything is made on the spot but it’s so worth it After we had the first bite of the chicken we immediately ordered their shrimp; there’s not much flavour to the batter but it’s still good when eaten with their garlic sauce Somebody here commented that the fries is soggy but luckily ours wasn’t! It’s so crispy & fluffy that we almost finished in one go 😂 It wasn’t too oily for us, it’s very juicy because of the broasted method & if we didn’t ordered the shrimp, we felt like we should’ve gotten 3 pieces of chicken each instead of just 2 (we ordered the half chicken set for 2 people but without the shrimp we would’ve still been full but maybe slightly peckish hehe) Parking is not ideal so heads up on that I love spicy food but their chilli powder is quite a kick 😂 (first you dip the garlic sauce then you dip the chilli powder) It is SO GOOD 9/10 we like it better than the famous broasted chicken at Wangsa Maju (it’s good but this one is so much better) Please support them & show them some love because the food is really good & the staffs are friendly ☺️ will come back again to try...
