I visited your restaurant on Friday at around 6:10 PM and ordered nasi sotong belacan along with an iced honey lemon, specifically requesting it without honey sugar. One of your foreign staff rudely questioned me, saying “Honey lemon has no honey?” I tried to clarify that I wanted ice with lemon as per my request, which is what I actually ordered. Despite that, his attitude was unprofessional and disrespectful. He removed the honey sugar but placed the drink on the table with a loud noise, which made me feel he was unwilling or unhappy to serve me. On top of that, I noticed the same staff was playing on his phone while working, which is unacceptable. The nasi sotong belacan itself was very disappointing. It lacked authentic Malay flavor and was just sour, which is unacceptable for a price of 20 ringgit. Moreover, your restaurant charges a 10% service tax, yet I received no welcome when I arrived, no thank you after payment, and overall poor customer service. Being treated rudely by your staff made me feel unwelcome and disrespected. I hope you take this feedback seriously and improve both your food quality and staff training because customers deserve better treatment and value for their money. If there is no significant improvement next time, I will not hesitate to escalate this issue by filing a formal complaint with FOMCA and KPDN. I strongly urge you to take immediate action to improve your staff training and service quality, or you will face official...
Read moreLocated near Pavilion Bukit Jalil, the establishment changed hands / renovated a few times. The latest renovation made it more comfortable with more open spaces maximizing the two shoplot units it occupies.
Ordering is a little traditional with manual written paper squares. It offers a reasonably priced set lunch that comes with drinks of your choice.
The utensils are new and clean. Likewise the tables are clean and new.
The bitter gourd mee hoon soup is decently good. The soup is balanced, and the bitter gourd is fresh and cut well not to be overpoweringly bitter or thick.
The wan tan mee with roast pork is a little strange take from the normal wan tan mee we get elsewhere. The roast pork is simmered with onions and chili padi.
The Singapore Beehoon is quite good. It has the normal ingredients: tomato sauce, chili slices, char siew cubes, prawn, cabbage, strips of fried eggs, and of course beehoon (vermicelli). Flavour is balanced and nice.
Portion sizes are good.
The ‘cham’, coffee and tea mix, isn’t too bad - the iced coffee in the shape of fish adds to aesthetics. The coffee likewise has the same fish-shaped ice.
Good place for a fairly priced and decent food...
Read moreI’m a regular customer here and I’m very happy with the food and services provided by them. Hearing all the unhappy reviews from other customers. I do feel I need to drop a fair comment to them. I would give them a rating of 8/10. Probably due to overwhelming patrons to Pavilion that caused the shortages of food supplied by them. I did patron to one of the restaurant near Pavilion, no more food available to 1.30pm. Restaurants are not well prepared and didn’t know there are limited food stores available in the mall. Don’t give up, Foodie.. thumbs up! Keep up all the good...
