Sausage platter - huge disappointment as we were served with 6 big size frankfurter instead of premium sausages.
Lamp chop was mistakenly ordered by the waitress. But it taste good. But we paid for the bill.
Braised lamb shank was a huge disappointment indeed and not able to eat as it was hard and rubbery. Definitely not braised but the chef claims he braised for 3 hours! Probably frozen and then they re heat with microwave! Really horrible. The waitress told us it was microwaved. The meat was pinky like using sous vide cooking style, but not exactly braising style. Still not braised enough coz meat was hard and it's not edible!
The Irish coffee with whisky was not strong enough with diluted coffee.
We were the only diners there for Sunday lunch and that surprised us indeed. Our bill came to more than rm250 for 2 person and we were not even full due to food that is not edible. The waitresses highly recommended us their...
Read moreA lack of attentive service staff was problem number one. Since being the only customer in there I shouldn't have to ask for cutlery after food is delivered or condiments. They should be offered or already on the table. No one asked if my food was good either. It wasn't. The pigs in blankets were over cooked and dry to they point of being hard. The cottage pie mincemeat was way too chewy so I left it after a couple of forkfuls. I can only assume the place is suffering with a lack of business post covid and are taking short cuts on staffing and refrigerating food for longer than before. The only thing that was OK were the truffle fries. Thank goodness I only gave the fries to my 4 year old. Two of my friends were surprised when I told them about my experience and said they had no such trouble, however the last time they went was pre covid. That explains a lot. Sadly I cannot give a good...
Read moreThe waiter, Aung, was beyond disappointing. I had drinks with a friend tonight. My friend got buzzed on the booze and she kept ordering more (for me & herself). I did tell the waiter (AUNG) to NOT bring in any more drinks as she or I couldn't handle it. But he did bring in more, although it was more than evident that we were both buzzed.
I know this is f&b, but I think it's common sense that you listen to the more sober individual at the table. If the person ordering is not in a sound state of mind, visibly, I think it's fair to assume you should listen to the one who is. Worse still, his excuse was that he listened to the "boss at the table". Im sorry , but were you going to drive her home (30km away) if she was sloshed silly?!?
Common sense; not so common anymore. Hopefully it doesn't cost a...
