FOOD: Dough by Meg is truly a culinary delight, boasting an exceptional menu with a plethora of creative and delectable recipes. Among my personal favourites is the avocado shrimp croissant, a unique and delightful choice that never fails to impress. I had their aglio olio today, and that too was an absolute delight, truly bursting with flavours.
COFFEE: The coffee at Dough by Meg stands out as some of the best in the Changkat area, if not the very best. Its well-balanced flavours complement their pastries impeccably, making for a truly satisfying and delightful combination.
PASTRIES: Now, let's talk about their pastries - a true indulgence! The chocolate palmier, though often overlooked, has become an underrated favourite of mine. But the real stars are their doughnuts and bombolinis, which I must admit are incredibly addictive. I find myself constantly craving these delightful treats, even if it's not the best for my diet, it brings immense pleasure to my soul! 10/10!
STAFF: Beyond the delectable food and coffee, what truly sets Dough by Meg apart is their wonderful staff. Each team member is exceptionally friendly, generous, and helpful. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and taken care of, and that's the main reason I keep coming back for more and will continue to do so. Shoutout to Irwin and his infectious charisma!
CONCLUSION: Dough by Meg is a must-visit for food and coffee enthusiasts seeking a delightful culinary journey. With an impressive array of dishes, top-notch coffee, and heavenly pastries, this place has it all. Moreover, the exceptional hospitality from the friendly staff adds a heartwarming touch to the overall dining experience. I cannot recommend this place enough and am already looking forward to...
Read moreDough by Meg used to be my fav cafe - would come every day, sometimes twice a day. But like a lot of cafes sadly, the more popular they get, the more focused they are on making money. Price increases, portions get smaller.
The most ridiculous thing is what they’ve done to their pain au chocolat. I used to tell everyone they had the best in town and of course to make more money, the turn that into a third of the size and selling them in twos. Not only now it’s more expensive ( the two for rm8 isn’t even close to what it was before), but what they failed to notice is that by making the little pain au chocolat, they make the entire thing so crispy and it looses the soft middle part that made it so good to begin with.
I still love their coffees, they’re still so good. But I’m watching this cafe turns into what every other cafe turns to before people...
Read moreI like this quiet neighbourhood within KL city. Wanted to visit this place for some time. The cafe indeed is not disappointing. Coffee is good, food was great. We ordered a beef sandwich, which I liked the bread so much, meat was quite good too, and surprisingly the little hash brown tube was super tasty, perfectly done I would say. If there is a hash brown bowl to go with either a sauce or a minced meat bolognese, I guess I would keep ordering that. The second mains, seafood spaghetti has my love too. Good taste, good portion, and happy amount of ingredients. One thing that always put me off to have spaghetti in shop is that it was always only noodles and little ingredients to go with. But not with this shop. However, the bombolini and croissant slightly average compared to the mains. Food: 9/10, Price: About RM60 per pax for a main, a pastry,...
