I had a lovely dining experience last weekend.
Head Chef Ryan's passion for culinary excellence shines through as he presents a diverse range of contemporary European flavors. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted, delivering a delightful fusion of ingredients and techniques that will tantalize your taste buds.
Highlights include Lemon Sole Meuniere. The delicate sole fillet was perfectly pan-fried to achieve a golden crust, while the lemon butter added a zesty touch topped with capers, gherkins, mixed herb salad. Each bite was a burst of flavors, and the fish practically melted in my mouth.
Next, was the Chicken Schnitzel & it was an absolute delight. The chicken breast was pounded thin, coated in a crispy breading, with various seeds, nuts, rice and fried to perfection. A heavenly combination of tender chicken and a satisfying crunch. Served alongside a mushroom sauce & a refreshing Coleslaw, this dish hit all the right notes.
For the piece de resistance was my mini birthday dessert platter; the Choux au Craquelin, created by Chef Leonard, a ‘perfect-ending’ that left me making yummy “oooo-ahhh” sounds! These little pastries were not only visually appealing but also incredibly delicious. The choux pastry was light and fluffy, filled with a luscious cream, and topped with a crispy caramelized craquelin.
Celina guided us in the proper sequence to fully enjoy them: starting with the Yuzu Lime Curd, followed by the Raspberry Cream, and culminating in the delightful Chocolate Orange Cremieux.

Read moreSHOCKINGLY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, 110% would NOT return. The lady who served us (seems like the manager or owner) was very rude and unpleasant (initially thought she was just moody but subsequent actions/tone really just shows she has anger management issues or even psychological?). From the moment we were brought to our seats, she spoke in an annoyed, sarcastic and condescending tone, even tapped rudely at my colleague's shoulder to get her attention, told a colleague who was seated near the edge "SIR YOU NEED TO MOVE IN I NEED TO SERVE OTHER CUSTOMERS YA" & when asked if we could order - "WAIT YA. I WILL TAKE IT ONCE I AM DONE WITH FILLING THE WATER." (so angry)
At one point we almost decided we should change to another eatery but as everyone was already hungry we decided to just stay. (otherwise just like the other comment in this section, she may have stormed to the restaurant to scold us)
On a good note, the food itself was delicious, especially the appetizers; the environment; the rest of the team were all nice and attentive so kudos to them! Unfortunately one horrible mannered staff is enough to spoil the restaurant's reputation. There are many other restaurants to spend your money at without being triggered by such behavior.
**also noticed the other reviewers comments being responded to in a super defensive manner and clearly not willing to accept criticism where it is due... Shocking... what a waste of such a potentially good...

Is a Sunday morning, was suppose to celebrate our dear little brother Birthday! I have booked this place 5 days ago and have been amending the number of pax few times with the restaurant and they are well aware. Knowing that the size of fitting all in one table is limited, they have informed me and I agreed on splitting the tables. As we arrived, the number of pax changed as some of them couldn’t make it, resulted only 14 of us instead of 17.
As we arrived, I was informing the waitress that 3 of the guest won’t be able to make it, suddenly Celina, the owner of the restaurant rush out furiously, interrupted my conversation with the friendly waitress “Without identifying what was I saying at all” and raised her voice at me..
“ARE YOU WENDY?? IVE ALREADY TOLD YOU WE HAVE TO SPLIT YOUR TABLE! NOW YOU HAVE WASTED MY OTHER SEATS JUST BECAUSE YOU KEEP CHANGING YOUR NUMBER OF PAX! NOW THIS TABLE CAN BE SOLD BECAUSE OF YOU.”
1st of all , we just arrived and was being nice telling the waitress that 3 person couldn’t make it. I was very Disappointed being treated rudely and accusing us on other matter not even identifying what were we saying.
However this is nullified as a result of the shoddy service, leaving a bad taste in the mouth.
Turns out, we celebrated my brother’s birthday at KENNY HILLS, the waitress and waiters are so much more FRIENDLY and we spent the whole...
