I had the pleasure of of indulging in a delightful food bud experience at WaterColour Oak Suites@ Kiara 163 Mont Kiara yesterday evening. Upon entering, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee enveloped the air, setting the perfect tone for my culinary adventure. The assortment of pastries was simply irresistible, and I opted for the Sambal Ikan Bilis and Almond Chips Kaya Puff. To my delight, each bite was so flavorful, and the texture was flawlessly fluffy. It was evident that the puffs were heated with precision, maintaining the ideal temperature-a rare find compared to other cafes where such attention to detail is often overlooked. I had also take away an Apple Turnover puff, even after hours, it retained its freshness and remained puffy-a testament to the quality and care put into each creation at WaterColour. I returned the next day to sample their Hiyashi Chuka Noodle. The homemade noodles surpassed expectations, it was perfectly chilled and a al dente. This dish left a lasting impression on my palate. In addition to their exquisite pastries and noodles, I couldn’t resist trying the house salad with honey mustard dressing. Bursting with a variety of greens and creamy avocado, an absolute delight. Beyond the culinary delights, the ambiance of WaterColour provided the perfect escape after a stressful day. Set against the backdrop of soothing bossa nova chill-out music, offers a relaxing escape after a hectic day. A must-visit for those seeking quality and unique menu in a...
Read moreA hidden gem at Ooak Suites Kiara 163! Small, honey, and cosy café that’s perfect for a chill hangout.
The food is excellent - the Big Breakfast with add-on croissant was the star (fluffy, buttery, highly recommended). The Smoked Salmon Bagel was fresh and satisfying, the Tenshin Rice had just the right amount of sauce for its generous portion, and the Homemade Pan Mee lived up to its reputation as a crowd favourite - super flavourful. The Ham & Cheese Sandwich was wholesome comfort food done right.
Drinks were interesting too - the Pink Lady was on the sweet side, while the Chocolate Milkshake made with oat milk had a unique taste I really enjoyed.
Overall, a cosy spot with warm vibes and genuinely good food. Prices lean a bit high, but the quality and portions make it absolutely worth it. Definitely a place I’d...
Read moreService = 2 star : 2 guys manning cashier and serving the food. Both were sour faced and fish eyed. Pretty much didn’t say a single word to us - where has customer service gone to!
Environment = 2 star : The decor was ok, but there were so many empty flower pots on the wall. Hot as hell! Also very cramped seating arrangement. The huge plant in the middle of the shop did not help this
Food = 2 star : I ordered smoked salmon bagel and an orange juice. Orange juice was as sour as lemon and the bagel bun was tough as meat, could hardly cut or bite through it. Was also served on a plate that was far too small for the meal, so everything was dropping on the table
Price = 1 star : Extremely overpriced. Whatever you do, do not...
