Food has been nice, I always come here for their dumplings and noodles, everytime the dumplings were juicy and tasty. We ordered 10 dumplings and dumpling noodle that day when we saw them packing frozen dumplings into packets to sell. At first I thought it was a good show at least we knew how they pack and prepare like an open kitchen concept. But the longer I watched, the more regret I felt because they dropped a few dumplings while packing because one of them just kept pouring all the frozen dumplings from a big plastic despite the container was full. They left the dumplings on the floor they stepped with their shoes for more than 5 minutes. Then they realized the dumplings on the floor, they picked it up and put it into the packets together with other dumplings. OMG I was shocked. I couldn’t believe how they could put it in so naturally, did that mean they’d been doing it all this while? Probably they trusted high heat killed germs, that’s what the teacher taught in school, science was great. I couldn’t finish my dumplings noodle because I was so disgusted by what I saw. I felt regret of going so early to witness this scene, maybe I had been eating dumplings from the floor just that I didn’t see it. If you always do it, please just do it inside the kitchen, don’t bring this out because I don’t think everyone likes to see it.
I still thought the dumplings taste good, but I couldn’t accept the way they picked up from the floor and put it back together with the...

The pork pepper soup noodles are GOOD. It's not just pork and noodles but the soup was very deeply flavoured with peanuts and garnished with coriander. Pork stomach slices were free of any gamey flavour. The lamian or handpulled noodles were perfectly cooked to bite. It even comes with some amaranth for greens. If the pork and the stomach could be a little softer, that would be EXCELLENT. For RM12.90, the portion of pork was very generous especially consider a lot of pork pepper soups now start at RM20 😂 For me, the soup was considered to be peppery. It warmed me up just nice. It was a bit intense at parts too. If you like to focus on soup taste, might be better to get it with rice because the flour taste does get into the soup and change it a bit.
The steamed dumplings (jiao zi) are great as well. They were very plump. Nice bite to the skin. Flavour was on point. Served with quite a generous saucer of ginger slices. If you like thicker skin, this is not so. But heavy in its filling making your money's worth. RM7.90 a basket.
I just can't wait to come back and try more things 🤣 The staff is very well trained and efficient. Lady boss also looks very nice.

Read moreThis is my favorite lamian "pulled noodles" stall. Owners are down to earth restaurant operators who have adapted to local preferences yet retaining the authentic from China spirit.
Notably is their efforts to produce a sambal suited to local taste and introduction of pepper based soup. These fiery additions goes well for a hearty appetite.
