OYO 89652 Bjorn Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

We chose the Bjorn for a one night stay as it was only 700m from where we needed to be the following morning. It was fine for us but I would not recommend it for people who have difficulty with stairs as there is no lift.||||The room was very tight with a super King bed, a chair and a shelf. There was a television with local programmes. The air conditioner worked well. The bathroom was small with a wet shower (no cubicle) that worked well. The bathroom floor was non-slip. Limited basic toiletries were provided. The room and bathroom were very clean. Free WIFI was strong. To me RM75 for the two of us was a fair price for what we got.||||There are plenty of shops, restaurants etc all around the hotel. Parking was difficult in the street as all the bays were full, but just one minute away there is a multi-storey car park that costs RM5 for 24 hours.||||If you need to be in this area early in the morning this hotel is a...

The only advantage: Good location with plenty of nearby restaurants and grocery stores

Disadvantages: Lots of worms and bugs in room, like centipede in washroom, crockcroach next to table, and even bed bugs... Bad smell when enter the room Noisy air conditioner The weirdest carpet... The artificial grass used as carpet in room, very doubtful about the floor cleaniness

Another funny part is that, I booked 2 rooms with 2 queen beds in each room, but the staff only offered me 2 bed rooms with 1 king bed and mentioned there is no more rooms, but after I showed her the booking detail and considering to complain, then suddenly got the room type that I needed, so dramatic...

Conclusion: I will never book this hotel again even it's free, very...

Budget friendly hotel. The room is smaller than expected plus only got 2 sockets (unless it's located somewhere that we couldn't find) for a room with two queen beds, but that's not a deal breaker.One big advantage here is there are a variety of restaurants nearby.

Yeah one more thing. First I booked this room on Booking.com, as it has an option to let me book and pay later once I've arrived. And free cancellation too (which was handy as it's a raining season so afraid the trip might be cancelled). But once I've arrived at the property, the lady at the counter asked me to cancel the booking on Booking.com and book again at the counter. It's a bit weird but I did it nonetheless as the new rate (RM 125) is cheaper than the one listed on...
