Food City 食满堂 | Bangsar South — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Giving this place a 3-star rating. Overall I love the drink stall and the choices of drink available and for the price in the area is consider quite cheap. I've tried majority of the stalls but I seriously have some opinions and hopefully the store owner will improve one it.

Bom Bom Western - Food taste and portion is really worth the price. But the service seriously, especially both Kitchen and Cashier. The first time I ordered 2 Grill Chicken Chop and 1 set of their Garlic Bread and repeated it 2-3times cause the Cashier was so clueless. Then made payment from my end and notice they left out 1 plate of Grill Chicken Chop, so fine nvm about it cause we only had an hour break Then food was ready, came out my Grilled Chicken turned into Fried Chicken Chop and we told them order was wrong. The Cashier didn't apologise or what just gave this blur face. So, we just let it go.

The second time, this time I repeated again 3 times Grilled Chicken Chop 2! Checked the receipt was correct, so thought ok lah sure correct this round. Then guess what, 2 FRIED CHICKEN CHOP came out. So I showed her the receipt and told them I ordered Grilled Chicken Chop. Again, they showed the blur face and stared at the receipt and the food and didnt apologise or anything.

It's very frustrating to keep getting the wrong order every time. Seriously hope the stall owner do something about this.

All that aside, the Vietnamese stall Nam Viet is delicious and portion definitely worth the price.

Update: 29/5/2023 Tried the pork noodle stall today. It was bad 👎 Soup was tasteless the menu showed there were included with the "spare parts" of the pork then when we collect it was just 2 meat balls, 2 meat slice and 2 chunk of mince meat and bland soup. Previously when the owner was there to monitor the stall, the food quality was there but ever since the owner no longer tend to the stall I feel the food quality really went out the window already. This review was written here specifically for this food stall named 南翔. Ordered a black chicken herbal soup with added on noodle , and one fried fish cutlet. The fried fish cutlet was definitely raw upon the first bite. When highlighted this matter to the cashier man as attached photo , he mentioned that this is dory fish and was trying to tell him that even its dory fish , it supposed to be cooked right instead of raw jelly condition as attached photo. Do you know it’s disgusting when eating raw jelly that being described as dory fish ? Instead of solving customer query , the cashier man stated that no time to entertain this issue . Have always wanted to try this foodcourt during lunch, as its always packed with people (made it difficult to find a place to sit). Got pretty lucky today, so gave it a try.

I tried their western food. They had a promo for a few dishes. I chose the Grilled Chicken Rice (RM13) comes with rice, coleslaw, and a fried egg. It's worth it considering the area and other competitors (some are pretty overpriced but oh well, its Bangsar South).

It tastes slightly above average, neither superb or bad, but its filling.

My drink of choice is their Lemonade (RM2.50+6% Service Charge = RM2.65). Love the combination with lime juice. Something for a change.
