Waffle Escape — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Have tried giving this place multiple chances. But everytime they never fail to disappoint. I see there have been comments from the business owner saying “all 5 waffle machines are operational now.” Pleased to inform everyone that doesnt seem like the case. There is always a long line of people waiting for the order while only one waffle machine is being used.

The staff need more training, always playing with their phones even if there are customers pending to take order. always have unhappy faces serving customers. If you wait for them to take your order, they will let you stand there for 10-15mins even if you call their attention. They will look at you and walk past you like you are nothing.

The waffle is pricier than normal but the taste of the food has declined.

Just bought my waffles, this is my second time purchasing food...the staff was so uncomfortable and grumpy the waffles was over cooked and I asked for each piece but the staff probably misunderstood and was doing other lodding stuff while the waffles was burning ...I paid! And I am getting burned and overcooked waffles, while the staff was applying the chocolate the staff was overwhelmed with his/her thoughts and was slamming the butter knife. This is so not acceptable. Upon applying the chocolate staff just took the paper bag which was so messy as the butter and chocolate all over the paper bag slam on the counter and continue with other customers with same...

The waffles here are quite different from what I tasted outside actually hmmm. They were slightly more soggy in the middle when I tried it and I requested it to be more crispy for a more solid center (which is what I'm used to). The service was exceptional cause I initially went to feedback only but they were very open to understanding customer's needs. Definitely a good place to get satisfy your cravings for a simple and delicious waffle especially if you are on the go or need...
