Jollibee Sunway Velocity — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

First time trying Jollibee. Got the 2 pc chk + spaghetti, double yumburger and the pineapple juice.

Overall, the meal was quite a disappointment and the price was expensive. It should be a social crime for fast food outlets to serve customers with 2 chicken wings for a 2 pc chicken set. My lucky day? Chicken batter was not good and falling apart. Tastewise its just normal fried chicken, and one cut below the competition (kfc, mcd, texas). The chicken wing itself was also not cut nicely, I say this because there were other miscellaneous bone structures to the chicken wing. The chicken is moist though (at the expense of batter falling off). Not sure what to do with the bun which came with the set, would rather it not be served at all.

Spaghetti was sweet and saucy, not much texture to the noodles. Burger was sad, patty was abit mushy and the sauce is something similar to thousand island?Several cuts below the burger competition (burger king, mcd, kfc) and I could have done a burger better myself with frozen patty from the grocer. Pineapple juice is just soso as well (especially compared to those malay stalls in selangor sell great and fresh pineapple juice).

I may have enjoyed it if I were younger (4-12 years old). But I dont think the Jollibee recipe caters for the adult palate, especially those who are not from the Philippines and did not grow up...

My honest opinion?

Minus first and most important star - a male staff announce the Q number in a very awfully unpleasant and rude tone!! If he's having a bad day, then take a day off and go goyang kaki on the sofa at home instead of screaming the numbers unwillingly at work!!!

Minus second most important star - ordered pasta with a piece of fried chicken plus a mango peach pie ..... NOT GOOD at all. Pasta tastes so so and only 4 small slices of sausages, fried chicken is tasteless on the inner meat part and salty on the skin part and last but not least, the pie is slimy gooey on the inside instead of creamy and juicy and the skin is too hard chewy instead of crunchy soft. Overall, the food is disappointing and even the stall by the roadside has better fried chicken ..... and CHEAPER!!! NOT WORTH THE PRICE FOR THE FOOD!!! TOTALLY OVERRATED PLACE TO DINE!!!

Minus 1 star - a lot of tables not cleared and cleaned in time

Minus 1 star - the trash area is very filthy

Minus 1 star - Staffs group together for break time and sit at customer's area especially the sofa side, up to even the front of entrance. I believe a lot of restaurants don't allow the staffs to sit at dining area unless it's a specified staff only area

Verdict : Don't the company provide better training and properly supervise the restaurants with the managers??? NOT GOING FOR A...

Order pasta and 2 pieces of chicken then double cheese burger

The food is just mediocre Pasta is sweet kiddie pasta… the cheese is not adding any flavour, the minced meat and the pieces of beef hotdog is ok, the pasta too is ok. Portion is not big

The spicy chicken no where taste the spicy… it is abit dried and over fried,more salty The normal chicken is oily and bland… Both chicken is big portion, just sadly it doesn't taste good… generally the worse of all fast food chain

The bun is like still raw,taste of flour is heavy! I can't find any dinner roll that worse than this

The supposed to be signature brown sauce is watery and tasteless

The double cheese burger as the name it have 2 slice of cheese, the patties is peppery and too salty,mayo hv a fishy taste, and no pickle, no lectuce, no onion, no tomato of any trace of vege, if you hate vegan you will love this burger.

The fries… serve soggy and cold…

The whole order cost 35…

The placing of the digital order is wrong… crossing the cashier queue and its not working, people ordered and paid and resit not printed… while witness the staff handle the situation with "unfriendly" tone

There a small table and seating in the order q area?!

The hand wash area soap is empty at 2.38pm,while there are staff just invisibly stand in between the sauce counter and the handwash...
