A lot of empty tables but with reserved sign. Ask a waitress and she point us to the other end. We order their promo - one regular thick crust aloha chicken pizza and one free large thick crust chicken pepperoni pizza. Bottomless soft drinks. Drinks arrived first. The the garlic bread and mushroom soup came. We have to ask the waitress to bring fork and knife. There were some tables left unclears. Then came the regular pizza and it was piping hot and tasty. We finish it very fast. Then came the waiting. After a while the waitress came back to us informed no more thick crust base. Are we ok with thin crust. Having waited for a while, we agreed. After some times the large pizza came. We were surprised the outer crust looks like burnt. Left in the oven too long. Upon biting we can taste the burning smell inside the mouth. We choose not to say anything and finish our meal to leave. We are not in blaming the waitress as we noticed she is the only one taking orders, sending over orders, clearing tables and also collects payment at the cashier. This is not our first visits. Each time we came, we noticed different new workers at the customer area. Maybe management should look into the workload of the customer facing staffs and implement some action plan. This might help retain staff longer which in turn will provide better service to keep...
Read moreMy child was recently discharged from the hospital, and we decided to bring her to Sunway Velocity Mall — a place known for being autism-friendly. We had a good time overall.
Unfortunately, when we visited your outlet Discrimination we experienced a disappointing and hurtful situation. Our child, who has speech delay and is on the autism spectrum, was running around a little — as children do. We were actively talking to her and trying to calm her down.
Instead of offering understanding or even neutral courtesy, the staff and other customers stared at us with judgmental looks, as if we were some sort of public spectacle. One staff member in particular — a big Malay lady with glasses at the counter — gave us a stern, unsmiling face the entire time. She never looked away until we left the outlet.
It was extremely discouraging and felt very discriminatory.
Thankfully, we went to another outlet afterward, where the staff were kind and welcoming. There was no judgment — only warmth and acceptance.
Please reflect on the kind of training and values your team promotes. Families like ours are not looking for special treatment, just basic human decency...
Read moreI recently decided to revisit Pizza Hut after several years, hoping to relive some of the nostalgia from my primary school days when I was a regular patron. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what I had hoped for.I ordered the Cheesy Chicken Meatball Bolognese Spaghetti from their new "Cheesy Pasta" offering.
After a wait of nearly 25 minutes, which felt particularly long given that the restaurant was only half full, the dish finally arrived. What was served was extremely disappointing—a messy blob of pasta with the cheese missing entirely. The presentation was unappetizing, to say the least, and it lacked any semblance of the indulgent, cheesy experience advertised.
I expected something far better, both in terms of quality and service. This experience has sadly left me disillusioned, especially considering the fond memories I had of enjoying Pizza Hut in the past. It’s no surprise that other pizza chains in Malaysia are making significant strides—there’s clearly a need for improvement here.
Overall, a genuinely disappointing visit, and I'm not sure I’ll be returning...
