Incident happened 10/7/2025 8:30pm
I was at Peng Chu velocity and made a phone call to outlet made order, Spicy Mala Pork Noodles for RM19 and i informed that i will come by 10 minutes to pick up. Unfortunately staff refused to take my phone call order and insisted i need to place order in person.
This is very customer unfriendly procedure, as i did told that i will come immediately as i don't want to wait another 10 minutes for the food. Staff only apologizing and explained that this is the system fault. Why takeaway cannot place order first? They only explained that the system is keyed in and only the order will pop out in the kitchen, how about dine in? is still the same, customer had to dine in first and paid the meal after finished. So the restaurant explanation has no logic. Most importantly, my meal is only worth RM19, what is the point i wanting to cheat on a meal? If more than a certain amount, then I can understand there is a payment that needs to be made in the outlet.
I confronted this issue to the manager, Mandy Sim, and she only kept quiet and said sorry. While I was expressing my dissatisfaction and she immediately put more fire by saying, " We will charge you 20 cents for take away." How come your customer was angry at the situation, and your Manager zero EQ by saying something to make your customer more angry?
I did leave my phone number at the outlet and am waiting for someone from Dragon I to raise my complaint, but until now, nobody has reached me so far, which is disappointing.
I gave zero hope by giving Google review, sincerely hope there is someone willing a proper customer service gesture and giving me a follow up...
Read moreIt's been a while since the family had Dragon-i so dropped by for dinner. Most of us didn't feel like having la mian so ordered some ala carte items instead. Except for my dad who ordered their pork chop la mian.
Food here has always been alright but nothing extraordinary really. Pricing wise definitely considered on the higher side, given the 'okay' food
La Mian was okay, pork chop was decent as well. Quite flavourful but the whole piece was slightly too thin. Shrinkflation, perhaps?
Besides the la mian, also ordered the pork belly with preserved vegetables. Likewise the dish was just alright and I felt like the meat was slightly under- seasoned. Might be good news for some as it meant that sodium levels are low but the dish tasted too bland.
Both dimsum dishes - meat dumplings (aka siu mai) and pot stickers were good though, but again nothing that screams great.
Lastly the scallion pancake with pork floss and sesame came out as a bit of a surprise as I thought 'pancake' was supposed to be thinner. Or at least like those Korean Pajeons. Anyways this was basically a thick bread with sesame coating and pork floss filling. The bread was soft and warm thus a good point however, don't think there was butter so tasted a bit plain.
The pork floss filling were rather 'thin' ie not enough and dry so it was kinda disappointing.
Overall, still a decent place if you are looking for a family...
Read moreThey obey thr SOP here, and the manager and most of the waiters here are nice. The foood is delicious, has Wok Hei, alrhough a bit too spicy for me hehe. And also a tip here, do tell the cashier that you did not use the wet tissue if you did not use them, orelse they will charge you, about 90 cents for each. Overall, I left a compliment to the handsome lengzai cashier guy just now, praising the customer service and how well they carried out sop and the food was nice. I think if you're reading this review here, I hope you can also spread positive vibes and energy by praising the staffs, anywhere, anytime, when you find their services are fulfilling and with high quality. You can also remember their names, and praise them by saying their names. Trust me, it works wonder, not only for them, but also for you too😍you will feel super happy after leaving a sincere, positive comment to...
